What tdev said, also the vehicle artists are probably always thinking of a new vehicle because they are getting so close to finishing the ones that we already know about. She so if they come up with a new idea Im sure they want to jump on that immediately, plus Im sure they get sick of working on the same thing all the time.
so tdev posted a new micro-blog today: and i noticed something in the screenshot: "Start Vehicles Preheated" so i guess they're also working on environment temperatures maybe? or just programmed cars to start at a temperature that's lower then the engine should be running at? i don't know
maybe it gets implemted with utah so that cars overheat more quickly there? this would be one hell of a cool Feature then
I like the more camera options, but how will adjusting the position work? Will it be a live updating of the position, or will we have to apply it before we see the new position? Also, would it be possible to have it so that we could move the camera around in free cam mode, press a button, and the camera locks into that position relative to the vehicle you are controlling? It would pretty much be the same idea of moving the x,y,z coordinates of the camera but much easier. I think all that is is starting the vehicles at a safe running temperature. If you leave it unchecked, I imagine that when you re spawn, your engine will be cold and that will just produce more exhaust smoke in some conditions, as well as introduce the possibility of breaking your engine due to overusing it. So you will just have to warm your engine before doing anything crazy if you leave that unchecked.

i'm guessing it will just toggle "coolant/oil" pre heat on and off for warm or cold engine when first spawned. So what ever your "preHeatTemperature = " is set to that's the temp its going be at (via what ever going be controlling it for ex ambient temp etc) when the option is checked (at vehicle spawn.) well that's my guess anyways lol. Here is the "preHeatTemperature" in the engine.lua Code: --Thermal constants local startPreHeated = true local preHeatTemperature = 80 I had Code: local preHeatTemperature = 80 changed to Code: local preHeatTemperature = 15 for awhile to simulate cold starts (and the "wow" factor of steam out the exhaust on a "cold" morning.

Something new happend the qa branch got updated but not at the normal time but that could mean anything also i think the campaign could be doing something with stunting? Because the scenarios are basically stunts EDIT: another qa update is that normal?
