Edit: forget about it. I thought the K Series seats looked red but it was just too far away to catch the brown instantly.
"The lack of PBR and bloom on Sunburst headlights is quite off-putting, more so given the fact that the rest of the car still holds up well." Compared to: Judging by modern standards, I'm not so sure any part of the sunburst really holds up that well (That being said it's still one of my favorite cars)
I mean, a good portion of this can be upgraded easily with better textures, and the bits that desperately need replacing wouldn't be that difficult to replace (i.e., the engine). I'm not saying it doesn't need a complete rework (like the "remaster" Covet had), what I'm saying is that with much less effort it could still pass as a decent remastered car (unlike Moonhawk, which looks dated even if you look at the bare chassis).
The Sunburst's one of very few cars that actually needs a full remaster, there's other issues like misaligned models (namely, how the door panels don't align with the interior), old ESC (besides the bugs, what's the point of drift mode on a 135hp, FWD, CVT economy car ), and some jbeam oddities (for example, grab this node with a small amount of force and watch most of the engine bay, and the driver's windshield wiper for some reason, spike and jiggle around):
The Wigeon looks adorable here. Also, why is the Roamer not in the picture or am I just blind? Edit: nvm, someone already said that
sunburst is bad moonhawk (apart from the retextured interior) is pain --- Post updated --- the engine model doesnt look like the current one
I would assume that most if not all vehicles will receive opening hoods and doors, as said before, it would be difficult to fit every vehicle in on frame, and maybe some are not done yet
hehe But, anyways, that does sound realistic. I am convicted that the K series remaster will be part of it.
