Tbh, the Covet needs its variety to be expanded. After all, if all the bodies we've been talking about (small sedan, small 5-door semiwagon hatchback-type thing, small coupe) are gonna be added, they're all gonna fill in some clearly empty niches in the BeamNG lore. Currently there's no Sedan smaller than the Sunburst, there's no old small 5-door Hatchback and there's also no old small FWD Coupe (we only have the Wendover for the role of the FWD Coupe and that isn't exactly small and sharp handling). All Covets will prove to be Swiss Army knives if AWD systems are included in the Covet update though (and they most definitely will be included). Plus the AWD systems are also gonna make the 5-door Hatchback a more compact option than the Bruckell LeGran Wagon, with its AWD SE Campagne variant. Also, the 1.8 SOHC I4 (which doesn't equip any existing Covet variant at the moment) can be a great engine for the 5-door Hatchback and the Sedan, it's got plenty of power and torque for moving these two car bodies along with the families they will be carrying. In fact, I just thought of the engine variety, depending on each body style. 3-door Hatchback 1.5 SOHC, 1.5 DOHC, 2.0 DOHC 3-door Coupe 1.5 SOHC, 1.5 DOHC, 2.0 DOHC 4-door Sedan 1.5 SOHC, 1.8 SOHC, 2.0 DOHC 5-door Hatchback 1.5 SOHC, 1.8 SOHC What do you think?
I do not see any chance of a remaster i suspect it's probably just a small update with race parts to tie in with what the devs are doing to other cars an example is the vivace with the racing dash etc. possibly adding maybe a GT3 type config to it?
Honestly, I hope it gets look at its chassis and drive shaft. Small hits to its underbody breaks it so easily.
I believe it must be a top end variant of a normal K-Series with more agressive suspension, new engine program and obviously different styling
The ETK sisters, while not as versatile as many other cars in game, still have some good potential related to performance versions. We could really do with an 82X/84X and some performance division stuff above TT-Sport. Shoehorn a big motor in both of those cars and throw on an aggressive GT style widebody, active aero for the K-Series, plus full on touring car configs... Aftermarket parts are another thing I really want to see. A turbo rabbit and nomi kit would be great to see for them. They could also do with a mid-cycle refresh and a couple special editions of the top trim specs I gotta say, I love the look of that new wing
I think at least the K Series deserves a GT3 styled body, like that mod we have for the Scintilla, would go great with the racing dash and a new interior
glad to see the k series getting some new content (if not being fully remastered), was always kinda underwhelming to me hopefully the 800 series gets some love too
yea ngl the K-Series felt like it was missing something, never knew what it was, other than a special ETK V8 version. doubt that'll happen but it's an idea.
I'm actually pretty excited for a K-Series remaster now, it has always been the one car with a lot of wasted potential and many issues, I hope we get improved Jbeam, a turbo that doesn't overheat, better radiator, a factory V12 engine, maybe a V8 swap, some tuning parts, and definitely it needs a proper race version! And of course the widebody too!
I'm super hyped for new parts for ETK K-Series. This car is awesome because it's 1 of 3 coupes in game. Standard K-Series have parts but it's missing a lot starting from agressive parts to ttSport, proper racing car. Also Drift build is great but car looking awful like standard one with wheels which are too small and not math car and color. For me on modern cars we can see more production age than on old ones so upgrade one of nicest car in game is awesome even if this mean only new parts not full remaster. I will be happy to see it on PBR ECUS, WCUS, Italy
The Widebody parts for the K-Series look amazing. As for the car itself, some changes have to be made on its body, some interior details have to be finished properly and, also, the engine variety of the modern ETKs can be expanded, with Turbocharged 1.5 gas and diesel I3s in the lower end, some more versions of the existing turbocharged gas and diesel 2.0 I4s/3.0 I6s in the middle (also, the NA 3.0 I6 can be kept because it makes sense for those who don't want a Turbocharged I4 and don't want to pay extra for a Turbocharged I6 either) and a 4.0 Twin-Turbo gasoline V8 in the higher end, for bringing the current German "Lego" way of engine production in the BeamNG lore.
