Words can’t explain how excited I am for the new car. Plus I get Wednesday and Thursday off work this week so I’ll be able to set up my wheel and give this thing a true track test. I can already tell it’s gonna handle like a dream. The amount of detail the newer cars have now is insane!!! Way better than the old beamng cars. I was blown away with the detail in the remastered bolide and I suspect this will be even better. I only use vanilla or my own mods now as I can no longer bring myself to use most mod cars anymore as the official cars are now on a whole new level not only in detail but it FFB feel, drivetrain simulation and driving physics. No mod car comes even close anymore. I don’t even play assetto corsa anymore as beamng has surpassed assetto corsa in terms of driving by a lot. Can’t wait to see the new teaser tomorrow. I just hit 5,000 hours. The most I’ve hit with any other game is 400. This by far the best game I’ve ever played and I want to congratulate the devs on turning this game into such a masterpiece. It went from being a funny crashing game with strange driving to being one of the best racing sims on the market which is quite impressive. Once tire thermals exist then it’s game over for every other racing sim. I don’t care if I can’t race other cars the driving is so good that other racing sims now feel like dirt 3 in comparison. No other game gives you the feeling of being one with the car like beamng does. After awhile the car just becomes and extension of your body and you almost forget it’s even there. Something I’ve never experienced in assetto corsa or project cars 2. You can just loose yourself in the car and next thing you know you’ve been hot lapping around the nurburing for 4 hours straight and are running out of fuel.
TDev literally asked since when Tuesday is mid of the week xD. I don’t think he trolled --- Post updated --- Same for me, I love using the vanilla cars as they drive/ look the best and I absolutely love beamng for racing as well
I think the update will be tommorow honestly, the change log seems to be already written, and there was a lot of Devs active in the forums yesterday. I think TDev confused everyone saying Is mid-next week Tuesday leading people to believe it was delayed another week, but is most likely just saying that Tuesday isn’t mid week, and quoting his post last week.
Experimental - Fuel Caps | BeamNG --- Post updated --- Alpha - Added Fuel Stations (MP Compatible) | BeamNG --- Post updated --- Yeah.
Well, TDev could have meant either, so I am preparing for the update coming out next week, and I think everyone else should too because then you are less likely to get disappointed if it doesn't come out tomorrow.
Why is everybody saying it is coming out next week now?? Last week he literally said it'd be coming half way through this week
Don't even know, he only said like yesterday that Tuesday is not the middle of the week implying that it's not Tuesday, people thinks that there's only 2 days in a week or what because if it's no Tuesday it's Wednesday, after that it's not middle of the week but the ending part of it. Ohh and BTW the creator program is running the same build as the QA_latest of the 12th June, that means that the devs thought that this QA build was stable and pushed it to the creator branch, giving the creators a version that was actually pushed a couple hours prior to them receiving it, update is near and it's still coming for this middle of the week (no need to go nuts) surprised i didn't saw someone mention this about the creator branch
i wonder what will be inside beside the civetta, the second update for the covet an regular bug fixes. aero changes, updated driving assists, an option for steering like in CarX for drifting ?
A bit out there for speculation and probably wont happen but: I speculate that there will be a new set of Steam trading cards for the newer vehicles added to the game
Actually, this would be amazing in BeamNG. Ferrari has such a system and it first appeared in the 458 Speciale: the SSC (or Side Slip-angle Control), programmed in the active rear differential and adjusted through the Manettino.
Pretty sure theres a bunch of cars with them now. I remember BMW teasing the M2 and it apparently had/has the same thing, making drifting a breeze "P
