I'm just seeing how things are ATM on the forums, Other Dev's may seem more active as we collect feedback & see how much you guys liked the teaser.
yeah that's what i'm saying, releasing the new supercar everyone's been drooling over and also having the game discounted on the biggest steam sale of the year could be a pretty good move for getting new people in
I personally LOVED it, i'm a huge fan of supercars and the scintella (sorry if i'm wrong, as im not made of spaghetti hehe) will porbably be my new favourite official car tbh it's just amazing and with the doors and everything you guys really did a god job with that one --- Post updated --- Exactly, see, he gets it!
if you play on high/ultra and set shadow resolution to 2048 in world editor, effective resolution is 4096px
Performance, not all GPUs can handle 4k shadows on very complicated/big levels like Italy. Remember our recommended GPU is still a GTX 970 that have 3.5GB VRAM + much slower 0.5
I've a question for you the devs... how much time does it take to make a teaser ? I'm really curious about it
But if you're on Ultra you probably don't have a GTX 970, couldn't the map resolution be increased for this graphics level ?
Anywhere between 10 -15 mins and a couple hours if we have issues with what we're wanting to show off / can't get a good feel for anything.
Timeline speculation: We can probably safely consider this the 'big reveal' teaser that tends to be the last one before release. 0.24.1's last teaser came on the 14th - update 1 week later. 0.24's was meanwhile just 2 days off - a tuesday for a thursday release. 0.23's was merely one day before a Wednesday update - though the image notably lacked the WIP tag. 0.22's was a bit longer - ringing in at six days. My money's on tomorrow or next tuesday.
depends what it is, if it's something like the previous one, it's pretty much just pose (which may involve obscuring extra stuff) and take a screenshot, then add the banner below. source: i have made fake teasers before
Even I liked it, which is saying something There were still some mods approved today, which makes me think there could still be a few days to a week until the update (unless the mod review team has gotten bigger!)
Dammit, i feel i need to upgrade my computer soon enough, 0.25 might be the one to finally require it
How have the presumed-to-be-included graphics improvements affected performance? (if you're willing to tell ) --- Post updated --- No PBR visible, and the textures are low res for the seats, so I'd say it's an old screenshot
