I just to ask, and i do apologise for being somewhat late, but how far off the the horizon is more indepth engine damage or even carburettor simulation. Gotta love a car that wont hot start
All those feature he talked about have been in development for a very long time and he wouldn't say they were coming in 0.26 if they weren't almost done.
ayrbaggs//???/?? Now, to be serious, I want to say what has been suggested a ton that I really do think could improve driving and the game's realism in all. rain and dynamic surface... uh... slipperiness? I actually do not know how much this has been said and if the devs have already answered it then tell me!
Still probably the biggest technical update since the move to Torque3d, which must be an absolute monster to test even if it is nearing completion. Plus, "confirmed to be work-in-progress" is a lot different from "confirmed for the next update in 3 months," features get teased and then delayed or shelved all the time which is probably why they're usually reluctant to say anything
Me, when the new car/another fine remaster getting released: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/GToC-LLM9Cg
Also ive one more question; This new "Sunny and dry" map, will it be the same old 1.6 sq mile size, Italy's size or somewhere in between, you can only fit some much into the old size and i dont mean to sound rude but it does leave left to be desired, and what sort of stage is it at? Planning or modelling or is it a secret?
Two of them, however, are confirmed for the next update in 3 months: Thermal simulation: Beginnings of mud and scratch implementation:
Yeah, I'd really like to activate the 50MPH bomb in the Wentward Bus and see it getting activated automatically under 50MPH too!
Insane that this now decade old game is still consistently getting worked on by a bunch of people, gets regular updates, and has a community bigger than ever. Devs have really been keeping the spirit alive
To be completely honest the only major featurea i would like beam improve on is Having dynamic reflections on multiple cars-the map itself and a proper weather system Other than that beam is already awesome for me
Wow, didn't know ROR had a map resembling Greece!! Tbh, I'd like to see an Australian map in the style of Mount Cootha or Mount Glorious, both these maps have great roads for endless hill climbing and drifting - and crashing! As a Greek, a map depicting Greece would also be good because our roads can truly break cars apart. Not to mention that our gravel/soil roads are some of the hardest in Europe and the Acropolis Rally confirms that. I'd totally love to see how the Rally cars of BeamNG can fare with such roads! Especially the Vivace Rally Gravel variant, which is my favorite rally car (unless the Sunburst gets the Flat-4s, in which case both will be my favorite rally cars)! P.S.: Since Audi is a client of .tech, I just remembered of some facts. Audi is used to bringing its test cars here for testing and presentations. I've seen the 2017 A8 and the 2018 A7 being driven across northern Greece in full camouflage wrap, for suspension and accompanying system testing. Also, about 6 months ago, the all-new RS3 was officially unveiled in Athens and also, the e-Tron GT was brought for testing, about 18 months ago.
