Update Speculation thread

I assume all threads, replies etc. would be migrated, it would be a shame and a hassle to just close them and needing to re-open them again

Does anybody know what the lack of teasers mean? Very weird.

their working most likely

It means they dont feel like posting a teaser yet. Teasers are posted at random to stop people going crazy tryna calculate when the updates coming

I think it’s because they are working on something and it’s not ready to be teased yet. Idk

Theres always something to tease, its not like the only thing in the update so far is a covet widebody rally car. As i said, they post them at random

Hmm... we've been getting pretty much nothing but vehicle-focused teasers lately. I wonder if the next teaser will continue that trend, or if maps, props, or gameplay elements like new scenarios will be featured.

I can imagine the Beam Team posting a short video clip of the new mission from the Community Mission Routes Contest when they announce the winner.

just waiting until page 2022 so i can jump in and say "nice shitty year we're havin"

I'll help you along that journey

Looks perfect for taking inspiration and making a small Covet Minivan!

That... is a really cool looking minivan somehow. Imagine if there were a mid-engined turbo V6 homologation version of that

My minivan covet sketch. Sorry it's bad xD

wait public ? updated

I think its just a hotfix https://www.beamng.com/threads/visual-bugs-with-water.83912/#post-1433693

Ayo, the update is 2GB, thats a huge hotfix, lol

Its 111.08 mb..?
Its been patching for 10 mins now…

this is weird, on my side its saying its 2gb...

Weird, idk whats going on with my steam, its saying it was 16 mins to go and now it says 10 mins, numbers are jumping everywhere
Edit: it went from 9 mins to 19 mins in a second, now its saying 12 mins

numbers are confusing
edit: now the downloading just froze, lol

Patching 111mb takes more time that reinstalling the entire game. Steam.
