I'm actually glad they went for Lancia Stratos rally car with Civetta as the group 4 Stratos had Ferrari engine. more info here: http://tech-racingcars.wikidot.com/lancia-stratos-hf
Besides the fact that that website looks like something straight out of 1994, it was pretty informative! I just wish that the new Bolide has a V12 or V10 as well, as there is such a thing as a rally car that is too powerful.
Speaking of the Group Bolide, I'm surprised to see they went the Lancia route with styling. I though a lot of people like the understated styling of the Bolide, which is something I love about the rally Ferrari's compared to their competitors. Not complaining, the Group Bolide certainly looks awesome, just wasn't what I expected
https://www.beamng.com/threads/development-media.24313/page-5 Could this be something related to the Bastion's gauges perhaps?
https://www.beamng.com/threads/development-media.24313/page-5#post-1396726 Not too sure what he is building, but seems to be like some sort of gauge. Maybe a hint that the bastion will have digital gauges like the vivace?
Diamond black is probably showing a prototype of the gauges of the sport variants/in sport mode. Somebody in this thread made some gauges designs and if I remember correctly, it looked a bit like this. Anyways, I'm super happy for, of course the Bastion, and the Civetta Bolide remaster ! It will probably receive a lot of cool stuff and it's really exciting ! I guess that it will receive a V6, maybe for base and rally variants (maybe with a turbo) and a V12 (a new engine type in the game !), but I really doubt for a V10, because in those times, I don't remember any IRL italian supercars with a V10... (For this part, I'm not a "80's supercar expert" so I might say some wrong/strange stuff ) In an other hand, do you think that we'll also receive the ETK center remastered ? It's maybe a little too much, but we can still hope ! And if it doesn't come now... It's not that important... It will probably make it for the 0.25, and I guess that everyone here is okay to say that it's better to have a quality product rather than a rushed map full of bugs .
Found some images the entire thread would have died over a year ago. Anyway, does anyone think that those would have signified digital gauges?
diamondback's teaser is the kind of quality content that we all need : terrible sound, terrible cuts, terrible drawings and that's why it's one of the best teasers that have had the chance to speculate on. These teasers are way more interesting than just having the whole product being shown, we need to use our brains and that's nice. My idea about this is that it looks like a fuel gauge that goes down really quickly, probably because the bastion must be very thirsty. Diamondback also made the gauge raise, probably a hint about a new refueling system in freeroam ?
AWESOME NEWS!!! I love this game Thanks, BeamNG... Like i said: So now, we have Bolide, almost all gavrils (except GM and T-Series, hope in them!), Pessima Mk2, SBR4 (?), Legran, K-series (?), Hopper (?) and Pigeon remasters! We miss Barstow, Moonhawk, Sunburst, I and 800-Series, Burnside, Pessima Mk1 (?), Miramar, 200BX, Piccolina, Covet and DT40L what would you like to see in future updates, apart Bolide remaster? I can't wait for this!
Sunburst because that weak suspension is such a pain, even the covet got a better suspension. It's meant to be a rally car dammit.
Man, I don't think 46 minutes of a video has gone faster than that BeamNG live stream interview I really loved it!
could the newest development media mean that we will have realistic fuel stations next? It looks like a modern fuel gauge. I don't agree the idea that they are just showing the new car will have digital gauge, because we already have digital gauges on vivace and esbr, it wouldn't make sense for them to show it now with the bastion, presumably the third car in-game with the digital gauge. Does this also mean we'll have realistic fuel-ups taking time and maybe costing some in-game money? Okay I'm stretching this too far now. But it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that we will eventually have this feature in career mode, since we already have multiple dealerships and restaurants and industrial ports in-game, a working fuel stations network would be the next possible step towards a working career system.
No idea what it is, what do you guys think? All I see is.. tire skit marks? Edit: i guess a fuel gauge is more likely as someone pointed out.
