this with the bolide's remastered engine please.. or gavril would do fine i guess. some actual spec: im guessing right around christmas for release time. its not a big update so probably not as much bugfixing time where it cant be released a couple days before christmas.
Nobody buys either of these for sound, both sound like shit. A 300hp I4 Turbo has a more powerful feeling than a similar V6, and it is easy to make both sound awesome. If we want a cool sub-V8 motor, than we should go for a barra-style six (or maybe an I5?). Also pentastar sucks...
Well man, you must be deaf, there's no other explanation. The V6 sounds just fine even stock. The Inline-4 just sounds bad, like horseshit bad. Colourless and characterless. And the "making it sound awesome" way is just gonna make it even worse, because it's gonna be buzzy and droney all the time, throughout the rev range. I just hate Inline-4s altogether, I've become fed up seeing them like a dime a dozen and hearing them all the time.
Everyone in america is sick of buzzy, thirsty, 2.0Ts with misleading MPG ratings, but V6s aren't any better. Considering that Bruckell probably isn't an I6 company, maybe a VR6?
V6s are honest, though! We know they're big, we know they burn fuel and we expect them to do so. The small turbo I4s are made solely for passing fuel consumption and emissions tests in a controlled environment. No car maker ever cared about how such a small engine is gonna cope with the weight of a midsize SUV, for example. That's why the Audi Q7 also has a 2.0T and the Ford Fusion/Mondeo had the 1.0 EcoBoost as its base engine. A VR6 would be great for a FWD Hatchback, now that I think of it! P.S.: If you see my comments duplicated, I guess the forum got Disqus-itis. Classic symptoms of the phone going retarded and me ending up trying to correct my comments for at least an hour!
Alright fine, I’ll give base models a 6speed. But its not going to be auto only. I doubt beamng devs would make it auto only.
It is possible we won't see any 3 pedal factory configs and all manual transmissions will be aftermarket swaps. Aside from the Blackwing there aren't and USDM 4 door 3 pedal V8's left IRL.
oke lets see what we might be gettin in version 0.25, or part 2 of 0.24 New cah (Burueklell bastardon) etk driver exprarinace centre remaster (posibly) boldie remastarh alot a bug fixes UI Bug fixess too
Hang on isnt it Most Often The Case of the QA latest comes first? and the stable later ( AKA when its well stable before the update ) Hmm i MAY be looking to much into it.( i think i am TBH ) but is this meaning i maybe able to crash the dodge ( cough bastion ) into a d-series sooner then later?
Have anyone seen Australian Supercar or Bathurst1000 recently? I was wondering if we are going to see full tubular chassis conversion on high-end racing cars or even Bastion. New pessima has partial tubular chassis and it’s absolutely amazing. For example imagine sbr4 with full carbon body, tubular chassis with gt3 homologation. Pics: Australian Supercar 2023
tbf, we do need gt3, gt2, gt4 car versions of most cars, the track variants are, uhh, btcc spec? idk, the hillclimb ones are, hillclimb spec, not exactly race series spec (idk how to explain this)
I do agree. We still have actually not fully converted hill climb racing cars as well. Low spec and high spec hill climb racing cars with mention what cc category it is would be super. Current track pessima 2nd and trophy trucks are the most racing vehicle homogolations we have at this moment. On the other side, Beamng is still not meant to be a proper sim racing game yet, but I think we are getting there and these customizations will eventually come in. --- Post updated --- If we take for example 200BX as an example, 90s were crazy with GT conversions.
