Group B(olide), here I come! Also, what kind of V8 engine size do you think the Bastion is going to get? My bet is somewhere between 6.4 & 6.8L
The first thing I thought of when I saw that car was how similar it looks to the challenger demon although I'm not sure if that is a stock config because if you look inside it seems like there is a roll cage and race seats whatever it is I'm super excited to try it out
the rear of the bastion is kinda meh but that front looks pretty good, though a bit tame. wish it had a little more inspiration from previous bruckel models... it doesn't look like very retro-modern like i'd expected it would
For V8s, I bet on 5.0 NA with like 400hp, 6.2 NA with 480hp and Supercharged with 550hp, and 6.7 Supercharged with something like 700/800hp. For other engines, I think that there could be some kind of Inline-4, maybe a 2.3 one with ~250hp, and a 3.5 V6 with 300 and 350 hp But those are just speculations
It's certainly gonna have a massive V8, no doubt about it. What I want to see (since the car seems fairly new) is a multi-speed automatic transmission being coupled to it. I'll hazard a guess and say it's gonna be a 10-speed Torque Converter unit!
I think around 6L seems reasonable, for base model maybe a bit lower, but I doubt it will have anything reaching 7L. Modern cars don't have that huge engines
I think the bastion will have a modernized version of the 378 that’s in the moonhawk. --- Post updated --- Kinda like how the d series has the 6.9 which is a modernized version of the 423 in the Barstow and bluebuck so I think it will have a 6.2 liter v8 with a v6 option.
The car looks too large to have 'just' a 5.0 V8. I bet it's gonna be larger than 6 liters and have the traditional 2-valve OHV design! The V6 is certain, since base versions are useful for making the car more affordable/economical/insurable and for serving basic Police duties (not Police chases though - an Interceptor variant with a big fat Supercharged V8 coupled to an automatic transmission would be perfect for such tasks) but I think a turbo-4 is out of the question. It would be too much work for it moving this large and heavy car, I believe. --- Post updated --- The 6.9/423ci is a Gavril engine, not a Bruckell one! I also think it won't have a 3.0 Inline-6 since ETK already fills this niche. After the Moonhawk, Bruckell switched to V6s so it would make sense to keep this engine configuration to this day. The only case of Bruckell making an Inline-6 is that it's larger than 3 liters.
WOW! The Bastion looks very sexy! I can't wait to drive this beast! As for the Bolide remaster, it will come out soon, I don't know if it will come out in this next update, but it will surely come out in the near future.
Definitely not a stock config, a race (or drift?) variant of some sort. Also it gives me Charger vibes, I think it looks good and probably will be a very fun sedan.
My new default car is coming! With a big, naturally aspirated OHV V8, rear wheel drive and a manual gearbox...just like they used to be before!
