Maybe, i just think with tdev stating after last update that they wanna change updates in terms of cycle and quality and the many different teasers that we have to wait a little longer than usual but getting the content cannon loaded up already.
I think late NOV to Mid dec. Because it will give them time to check for bugs. Also we dont know anything about the new car yet. SO i think dec.
For your convenience, the electric differentials are here. No, the eSBR does not have torque vectoring, all factory eSBRs are with open differentials. Only the factory SBR4 TTS2 has torque vectoring.
Was looking around in the en-US locale file, and I found some dialogue that is supposed to be used in a skin making wizard. Does anyone else think that this can actually be for an official skin maker?
That would be cool, but we also have a whole vehicle editor that is not working, this might be part of that, and it could be extremely early WIP and could take many years to make
This could be really cool, and it reminds me the conversation we had some pages before this, with the fridge teaser, when I said :
At 1:50 you can hear what I mean. The idle is much more aggressive than the old american cars in-game. Plus, this impala has a single exhaust. The cars in Beam have duals.
Yeah, I think sounds should be reworked, the devs changed it sometimes already, but is still lacks as we can see, the v8s sound sooo tame, the F4 and i5 of the SBR4 and Vivace are the best in my opinion, the i4s sound basically the same, and the i6s are flavourless, the Pigeon engine is actually one of my favourites as well.
Well, if this new car we're getting (we all have our speculations but personally I'm thinking the Moonhawk nameplate needs a revival) is what I think it is, it's probably going to have at least one flat- or crossplane crank V8. A modern muscle sedan is kind of one of the archetypes missing from the game (Grand Marshall is based but let's be real it barely squeezes in as muscle), and hopefully that will mean better/more varied exhaust sounds to match. Seeing that the different stage performance blocks for engines presumably change the internals (just based on how much of a power increase there is with nothing else changed), it would be really cool to hear different long blocks have different sound characteristics to reflect the kinds of changes being made to the motors.
I think the gasoline I6s of both the old and modern ETKs sound great. Refined and velvety. Ditto the Diesel I6 of the modern ETKs. It sounds almost exactly like a BMW Diesel I6 does. The idle clatter of the Gavril 232ci/Bruckell 244ci I6s and the Hopper 4.0 I6 is appropriate for the age of the cars and the slightly louder volume of this engine sound also fits them well. The V8 sound as is, fits the 80s/90s/00s American cars very nicely but the 50s/60s/70s American cars of the game could have a different sound. The lower idle of the older cars is appropriate to them though (but the highly tuned old V8s could have angrier camshaft sounds)! The V8 Diesel is 100% realistic and great sounding just as the Gavril TCM 8.9 and TCX 10.6 I6 Diesel sounds are as well! The I5 is amazing although the absence of backfires during DCT/Sequential gearchanges severely tones it down for me. I'd like the DCT/Sequential gearchange backfires to come back! The F4s are great, especially the Piccolina ones and the 2.5 of the SBR4 with the X-Pipe (or without any muffler)! The V6s (just like the I6s sound like what an I6 sounds in real life) sound exactly like what a V6 would sound IRL although a bit more variety across the different models (Pessima 2.7 V6 and LeGran/Wendover 3.3 and 3.8 V6) would be nice. The Asian and American I4s sound meh but very realistic at the same time. The European ETK I4 sound just doesn't fit the car. At all. On the other hand, the FCV gasoline I4s sound great (although I'd really like the backfires of the 230S to return)! The Diesel I4 sounds 100% like in real life, that clatter is unmistakable! The I3 sounds very nice actually!!
I'm 100% with you on this one, back when the Vivace came out there was a mod that added the I5 to the SBR4, the shifts were mean af, it's a shame they're almost silent now A short video i made back then
