Update Speculation thread

i dont understand why people dont like dlc's, you aren't being forced to buy them and they usually are pretty cheap.
afaik they can't make any more money off of people once you've bought the game, dlc is the only way for them to make some more money.

 

They literally can’t make the game any cheaper stop complaining

 

I'm not asking for the game to be cheaper, I'm asking for there to not be additional monetization on top of the price I paid for the game under the presumption that in exchange for giving money for an early access product all future content would be free, especially as I vividly remember the developers stating "No DLC" countless times.

 

I was kinda just saying that In general not directed towards anyone specifically.

 

I imagine it's largely because of how the big AAA studios treat DLC. So many of them use DLCs in a predatory way that there's a strong stigma with anything of the sort nowadays.

 

Yeah, as long as they don't go EA with it i'll be happy.

 

I might be wrong because I didn't watch the video, but if we do get DLC, then we should talk about pricing when it is announced. Not now, (likely) long away from any official announcement of such.

 

All I want right now is either the video made more public than it is, or a confirmation of what is and isn't going on for those people (me) who haven't seen it

 

Considering the game is only 20 dollars the dlc is going to be equally very cheap

Agreed. This is weird, the the devs are usually pretty transparent with us, and they’re protecting this like China protects what happened on June 5, 1989

 

To be honest am all for DLCs if they do it well.
if they make a few car packs ( I.E 40s car pack with 3/5 cars. and maybe a parts park. )
And a 70s car pack.

Who knows MAYBE just Maybe REAL cars like CMS so DLC may ( maybe not ) give us licensed cars.


All i know is this DLC thing may be the best.

I do hope WCUSA continues to see its fair share of reconstruction as time goes on, it is such a good foundation with so much potential.

Im thinking the ETK Driving Experience Center is being revamped, like, ive never really seen anyone use it or if so rarely. Its the probably most underrated Map, but thats also because theres nothing to do on it, so they might be revamping it, but since theres prob been no infos, its probably not going to.
