So am I the only one who noticed that the wood crate prop has a trigger? It does nothing yet, but in the future maybe it could be openable or something?
The crate has no internal model at the moment, so my guess is an old rendering test leftover. Maybe checking that it ends up rectangular like they wanted or something.
*You have unboxed 1 race front coilover. $9.99 for the rear coilover* Lmao --- Post updated --- So some more speculation, What if the crate has triggers to let you carry it into the shop? Then maybe you can get suspension, chassis, body panels etc through it so the car can be configured with the required parts? Don't really know how to word it out.
Here are some 0.22 and 0.23 comparisons for ya, if nobody have done it yet Notice how they changed some textures in the trailer of the semi. Also how it now has a blue-ish filter on PBR version. --- Post updated --- And how the new Direct Specular Lighting looks. It adds some neat details to the tires and it's a great graphical improvement!
Good one! Yeah im very curious about what the Direct Specular Lighting change is about, alongside with the Ambient Diffuse.. Im thinking it could be big things code wise or small things map wise. Ambient diffuse gradient map and Sun gradient map could potentially be those changes but ive been doing those for 2 years or smthn. Also they arent really changing fps, as implied in it being in Ultra settings (in combination with Brightness being stronger i can absolutely lower fps but its another one of those things that ive been doing a long time and seems too easy for being part of a big gfx update).
More things on the JRI topic. Again, this could all very well be coincidence and not be indicative of anything so please do not treat this as fact. JRI used to have bus routes but these are now entirely absent after the remaster. While bus stops are still present on the map, the routes themselves are gone. Perhaps they are waiting on final locations/names to re-implement them? JRI also has lost all of its scenarios except two after the remaster. Most maps before then kept most of theirs after their respective remasters. Finally, given the abundance of Industrial Site assets in the Port and Industrial Site, perhaps these might be placeholders for a future "phase 2"? The rest of the map has unique assets, and it's very strange that buildings seen only in Texas beforehand (Industrial, Derby Arenas), are identically seen in Hawaii/Japan/other Pacific island. JRI also lacks road signs entirely. This might not mean anything though as Small Island and Industrial Site also lack them, however they might be waiting on a future update or something to add them. JRI also completely lacks residential buildings, which makes it hard to understand how it had workers for all of its facilities. It would make sense for an isolated island to have various towns/villages for locals to live/work/shop/etc.
The bus-stop topic is interesting, not gonna lie. I think, a "second part of the remaster" is possible or something like that
I've got one question regarding PBR. Does it affect rain/snow at all or is it smthg that needs to be remade?
It was abandoned when 0.12 came out and it got bus routes then. It still has the bus stops and everything, it's just that the routes themselves are gone.
On the topic of bus-stops, they are on the left side of the road. One more thing pointing to JRI being a Japanese map in the future.
