I think the grip on street cars and offroad cars is perfect but race cars lack a little grip.
So... oh boy a lot happened here huh?
Can I get a summary of what happened when I was gone? Links of pages where the most important things happened?
What Discord moderator? Or atleast in what circumstances This is honestly the one thing i care for in possible updates!
*Casually flips pessima racecar around corner*
I was more talking about the hillclimb versions - with these gigantic wings i think they should have a bit more grip and they should also not take off that much when hitting a kerb.

Ibishu Wigeon WIP showed on the Beamng Twitter:
tdev posted an image here that looks like PBR (that is now confirmed by a discord moderator):
Well, that's... interesting. Thanks
Wait, Beamng will run on a new engine?
No, it's just PBR (physically based rendering)
Can't wait for my gaming rig to officially become obsolete because of this. It never stopped the random BSOD fits so it probably needs a replacement something or other anyway, but I need that money for IRL car stuff!
Maybe, i forgot to add that they said in the documentation that linux will be supported, and since torque can't run on linux, that certainly means Vulkan is coming.
Since people are screaming 'omg vulkan'...
does that mean im 2 outta 3 now?
do yall believe me now
I wonder if/when BeamNG will get post processing stuff like motion blur/radial blur for photo mode
It's a small hope of mine that it comes with all the PBR stuff
What do you mean? PBR is even simpler than traditional material systems. Games like War Thunder implemented PBR years ago and there was no performance hit, I could run that on my old gaming laptop with a 1050 with 0 issues.
but war thunder is a masterpiece of optimization, I don't know if beamng devs will manage to reach gaijin's level
Right now the game does a render pass for each layer, as long as PBR doesn't add more layers we won't see a performance hit.
Its been on my wishlist for years now
Those truck wheels are the best thing for a long time, not only possible PBR, they look hella good with those sligtly worn textures too
What actually IS PBR??
"Physically Based Rendering", and as you can see makes the game look 200% better at least
