Update Speculation thread

I get it, I saw the OG post, and I took down my post, end of discussion.

 

I was just quoting the first post here for everyone else too. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, sorry if my post came across that way.

 

Sorry if mine came off rude, I am just a little angry about something completely unrelated, my bad, now, let's talk about the new updates!

 

Yeah, but if B25Mitch was able at least to spawn it in the game, this means that the jbeam is done, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Let me elaborate on something:

The qa_latest branch is automatically updated daily, around 20:15 UTC. However, before every major update there is a week or two of increased activity, usually ranging from 4-6 updates per day due to final QA testing. If you look at SteamDB's history and compare it with previous updates, you can see this correlation. This period of "spam" has always occurred each update, however the length may fluctuate.

This period has not occurred yet for this update. The only possible situation where this might not occur is if they change how they update the dev builds, but I doubt that's very likely.

 

Yeah, but the car might not even have an interior, certain body panels, so probably going to take at least another month or two

It the front end of that looks anything like the front end of the pre-runner...

This probably doesen't mean anything but a dev liked a silly comment of mine on Twitter.

 

I wouldn't be happy when it comes out because then there will be no more cars added to the game

 

When what comes out, the Wendover?

It's the last of the originally promised cars, not the last car ever. It's not like they are just going to fire the entire vehicle team after the Wendover is released.

One thing I don't get... It looks like the facelift is interchangeable with the curerent parts, like the pre-facelift is. I'm not sure why they aren't going for more major changes, like how the Roamer got an entirely unique front end with new fenders and a hood. It would've really helped the look if they let themselves make some bigger changes.

 

Says who? The devs don't have to stop development of other vehicles just because the last of the promised content was released. The car list can always grow before they leave early access and become a full game, and can even continue to grow afterwards with free or paid dlcs.

 

New content is new content, even if it isn't a brand new car. There will already be a lot of new stuff that we will all be able to appreciate in some way or another.
We're not entitled to having a new car each update either.

This is that i call teaser week. To that means that they maybe just maybe it will come in a week or so.

ANYWAY i think i spot new dash bored for the face lift.

As you can see looks more new. More moden? It may just be me.

 

I wonder if the facelift door handles are separate from the door since it seems like there is an option for black and painted doorhandles and I guess it would be a pain to have two sets of door meshes just for multiple door handle colour variations.



Still waiting for prefacelift door handles like a few others on here.
