Update Speculation thread

The wrangler has HISTORY IN the war. That doesnt mean THAT version was in it. I think it will be based off the TJ bodystyle

 

Yea. I agree. This Jeep would be really cool in the cornfields or the farms. I can imagine Gabe posting a dev pic of this SUV where it's flying up in the air in Italy or something.

 

I agree. I know that this is just a concept at the moment but that highway look like fun. At first I wasn't that interested in the Italy map but this concept art has gotten me interested in the map now. I like to race/drive on roads like it was a circuit.
Utah has 1 or 2 roads that I drive like a circuit and eca has that one part of road that is kinda oval, that some users here use. If the final Italy map will look sorta like this I will defiantly use the outer highway to race.
The placement of the cities and ruins and so on IMO reminds me of Just cause 3's map.

 

Being Italy, you should expect inestricable traffic jams on the highway.

Or a deserted track... at the end of which you get a ridiculously high fine for speeding.

You know. For realism...

 

Don't forget awful city junction design, and the trams blocking the road...

 

No junctions nor trams on the italian highways.

Bet they're saving those for the urban area of the map...

 

If railroads were to be put into the Italy map, the tracks would have to be the exact gauge real Italian railroad tracks are, and railroad crossings on the map should look like this:

 

They have the same gauge as most countries on earth, 1435 mm. But i don't think there will be any rail stuff on Italy.
However West Coast will get some cable car tracks,... if those will work?...

 

Ibishu Hopper


Has some pretty good progress on it since it's announcement, and it also looks like it has a detachable roof.

 

look at the rims they just scream jeep.

Wow. That looks amazing. I wonder what time period we're talking about. Any guesses? i'd sayyy.... Uh, maybe like around the pidgeon the grills look similar. I have no idea.

So gabster hinted that it will probably come out with the transmission update and as it looks there has to be a lot done to it. But i do still think that the hopper will come out before the legran because we havent seen the legran from the outside also i think it would make more sense because of how they are releasing cars:

After a tiring day I come home to see that the devs have released more pictures and info about the 4x4. Thanks devs!

 

But why they choosed Ibishu? We have alredy a bunch of Ibishus. Soliad would fit quite well, just for something different. And Soliad is similar to "solid", which i hope this car will be.
