Update Speculation thread

going to be nice having a somewhat proper offroad vehicle It''ll probably be better stock than the offroad D-series.

 

I think that maybe the wrangler will be out before the legran and we will have a situation like with the 2400i and the k-Series

 

I'm not thinking Wrangler when I see that blue vehicle. I'm thinking it's more Suzuki Jimny/Samurai. Probably the Ibishu SUV that was hinted in some request thread somewhere.

 

I like how he hid the vehicle just to kill me with hype.

 

It's the other way around for me. Doesn't look japanese to me at all, and it also looks a good deal bigger than these small Suzukis.

Besides, gabester told us he's working on a spartan off-road vehicle in a thread about an Ibishu-branded mod. He never said his upcoming vehicle would be an Ibishu itself (that was an assumption), but rather that it was inspired by the Jeep Wrangler.

Seems like a mix between a Wrangler and a Suzuki Samurai

 

It's just Wrangler influence's in my opinion, i don't see any Samurai influences.

 

To me it seems like mix between Mercedez-Benz G-class, Suzuki Samurai and Jeep Wranler Rubicon

 

It looks like a mix of Toyota Camry, a piano, and a sweet potato.

OT: for some reason, I suspect it's an ETK.

 

Being completely honest it does look a bit like a european offroad SUV though I was thinking more along the lines of a landrover.

 

For some reason I found Gabester's teaser pic combined with his caption to be pretty funny. I don't know why, and the comment I had in my head was like "Oh my gosh, Gabester has made a Jeep!" It'll be interesting to see what the rest of the vehicle is gonna look like in future pictures.

 

what ever it looks like, it NEEDS to have options out the wazoo for offroading

Well when he replied to the ibishu sparrow thread he said that it would be mechanically inspired of the wrangler.

Yeah i was about to say that too.

Didn't really say anything else that what i wrote above. Other than that it's a small offroad SUV like the thread suggested.

 

If it is Japanese, i hope for Hirochi (we have only two) and if murican, i hope for Soliad (just for something different)

 

I hope not, it doesn't really fit into any of the current brands' lineups IMO, so an entirely new marque might be a better option.
