I might be able to fix the vehicle error by renaming the shiftlogic files my mod uses so it doesn't conflict with other mods like that dacia thing you have installed.
I've tried renaming the file, deleting the cache, reinstalling the mod, etc., but the aforementioned lua error occurs and i still can't shift to 3rd gear or higher. is there a way to revert just the transmission part to an older version?
I just updated the main file on the original post, so now the transmission JBeam looks for a Caprice-specific shiftLogic file that shouldn't conflict with anything. Hopefully, that fixes the LUA issue people have been encountering lately. If it doesn't, then I'm not sure what will, other than avoiding shifting past Drive altogether, if you can stomach it, God help you.
some of the the livery's have huge no texture problems on the roof, hood and trunk. i cleared cache multiple times and deleted the common folders. but no fix.
0.37 seems to have broken the whitewall tire textures, I checked and it seems to happen when this mod is active
it's unclear whether this was intentional, but it appears that several textures have been removed with this update. in addition to the tires, there were also problems with the texture of the ETK i's engine block.
I'll upload a fix for this to the original post when I have time. Patch 0.37 seems to have partially broken custom starter sounds, too, since the ones included in the custom engine sounds add-on for this mod cut off abruptly instead of playing the entire sound file.
I'm not going to fulfil suggestions or requests, but if you or anyone else wants more skins or anything else for the mod, I encourage you to make it yourself. I've included the skin templates in a separate *.zip file available for download so you can create your own skins for the Caprice.
