First one, sounds plausible. Second one, how did its semi-automatic work, because torque converter autos are usually pretty trash. Third one, there is no such thing as too low-slung, certainly not on the Citroen DS.
2. Unlike automatics, it required manual gear changes and corrossive fluid, and didn't last as long. 3. Compared to slabsided styling that actually replaced 50s curves (e. g. Mercedes Fintail, Lincoln Continental), its sloping styling lacks substance.
Linux is extremely overrated. Yes, it's definitely very flexible and stable for sure, but it's horribly complicated and lack real hardware support. And the game support sucks. And their fanboys are horrible.
Yea but trust me MacOS is shittier. Any product from apple is overrated, expensive and complete ass overall. #ASUSMasterRace! Because i own a ASUS Gaming laptop.
The Steve Jobs-era of Apple products actually had some qualities. The other products since his death weren't that great (though they're not the worst things I ever owned).
Nah. macOS is actually great. It's smooth and actually reliable (because it was only used in some devices, and that means optimizations are easier to do). Also, ASUS gaming laptops (in the name of Republic of Gaming) are overrated as well.
Every time I think about it in an objective way, cars are one of the worst hobbies. It's one centered around relatively expensive and dangerous items that require quite a lot of storage space and a road network, and can very rarely be used in their full potential. Plus, what the average hobbyist wants is usually at odds with the average buyer (e.g. self-driving cars).
Now. It could be like with cars vs horses - at first, cars were rich men's toys, but then they became a popular mode of transporation.
"The people don't want it, but they'll probably like it when we shove it down their throats far enough. Or if they still won't - fuck them" What kind of democracy is that - if it even pretends to be democratic... Car vs Autonomous car can't be compared to Car vs Horse. Cars are faster, can carry more, don't get tired and last longer than horses. An autonomous car is still the same car except you aren't allowed to drive.
Or maybe let's abandon painting authoritarianism on other people and consider the idea that a new idea takes time to get acceptance. Exactly. For most people, driving is a dangerous chore, and I strongly suspenct that the disapproval is caused by fears that will disappear once the technology gets popular.
