Totally agree. The Element is one of the few (relatively) recent Hondas/Acuras that doesn't make me want to die. Possibly because it's one of the few models that prioritises function over looks... and looks are something Honda is very lacking these days. The Element looks like ass, like every other Honda... but at least it makes sense. Everything they've launched in the last few years bar the NSX could go straight into one of those "How Not To Style Your New Car" manuals. Can't they hire a designer? Someone who's not a 6-years old mecha-fan maybe?
I would argue even the NSX is poorly styled IMO. It looks trendy now, but it's going to look completely outdated in a few years. Meanwhile, the 1st gen NSX still looks like it could be a brand new car.
The old nsx still looks good today because it was built fairly long but hasnt been built much so itll always look good and somewhat recent the only giveaway would be the pop ups but they arent in every nsx.
The old NSX's styling was timeless, that's why it still looks good today. It's easy to craft something with trendy looks and fleeting style, as is the case with the new NSX (and most other modern cars with narrow windows, fake vents, and sharp creases everywhere). Making a machine styled with absolute perfection, and beauty that endures the passing of time, is the true mark of a good designer
What is this http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01906/Ugly-Kenari_1906001i.jpg IT LOOKS LIKE A PERSON WITHOUT EYEBROWS! Also, they tried to copy LANCIA, LANCIA.
I hate the riced wing, the tuned bumpers look unoriginal, and the sedan version just restricts it more.
I always hated that car since it destroyed my Carrera GT on shift 2 RICER ALERT: ALL WILL TRIGGER AT THIS, INCLUDING ME https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/f4/61/74/f4617438e4ff055f7f54be4bcf66d4e7.jpg
The wing looks decent, I don't know how you could think it looks like shit. Totally agree with you on the bumpers though.
IMO, I find this the "Stinger" of Audi, the Q2 I don't understand why people just accept this car without pointing out how idiotic the front looks. The face looks like it got any kind of slap or another Peter Griffin face, while the rear looks so desperate to be a VW Polo, which doesn't help the design. This looks worse than the A2, and that would've been the German Avantime. I'm sure the number "2" means that Audi is gonna make the car in design ass.
Front looks good, rear could be better. Why is this in a thread about the ugliest cars? This is just another crossover from Audi.
