Trying to move wheels

So I read and watched a couple videos and can't figure out how to move wheels forward. Have the read the tug jbeam section and wheel nodes

I can edit the a few Y positions in the 5-lug section of the jbeam but nothing is actually doing anything...

Been at this for a few hours now and am just going in circles accomplishing nothing. anyone willing to help me out think this is the wrong section

Changing the Y position on the wheels doesn't do anything. I changed every Y value and nothing changed. Ctrl-r no changes

"Note: When changing positions, to move towards the front of a vehicle, you need to lower the Y value (negative Y values are at the front of vehicles)"

tried to look for the rear suspension setup and use the wheel positions from there but that does not work either....

 

Maybe the whole axle is shifted backwards?

might be outta my skill level i can't do much more than edit a file or two eh had fun trying I'm leaving it to someone else 4.5hr in and nothing on my end
