What happens when you take Hopper Crawler axles, a Gavril big block, and combine them all inside a formula offroad inspired spaceframe chassis?

for these vehicles id love to see like, actual design to the body, instead of just solid colors? Idk maybe its just me but it seems really simple and bland and doesnt fit the environments of maps in the ambiance of realism

Yeah, I'm a mechanical engineer IRL, so I'm not much of a graphical artist. I much prefer playing with Jbeam and stuff, which is why my models/textures aren't really that great.

However for paint schemes, if anyone has ideas and sketches, I'd be happy to take a look.

And as with all of my previous mods, it's fully UV Mapped and there's a template included in the mod's files, so you can make your own skins if you want to.

Do you plan on making a rear steer option?

Considering I have a lot of spare time these days, I started working on something.

Just need to fix up the whole thing, since right now the jbeam and nodegroup setup is super dodgy, but it works.

I am huge rock crawling enthusiast and to see somebody take form of a buggy once again is awesome!! and so far I love it! but I do have some questions? is there any way to have the rear steer be controlled by a separate binding for example your joy stick controls the front steering axle while other bindings control the rear, I saw you broke it up into options but it would be awesome to be able to have absolute control of each axle at all times. also a common technique used in comp crawlers is "dig" it is where the transfercase disconnects all power to the rear wheels witch then allows the front axle to be able to swing its nose in a tight radius it is also a technique used to settle the front end in vertical climbs would be a awesome tool to have and would be the first that I have seen in beamng! so far though I am in love with this mod great work!!!

    Thanks for the feedback.

I have a bunch of things I'm probably going to be adding based on you guys feedback, and some minor things for realism as well:

-Add transfer case with dig option. From what I understand dig can also lock the rear wheels, but that should be doable with the handbrake in beamNG
-Add transfer case without low-range, and use that for the formula offroad variants.
-Add separate variant of the rear steering system that's controlled by separate commands.
-Add some sort of tire ballast system.

The amount of great feedback also makes me want to give the mod a bit of polish as well, starting with the body.

I still need to split the thing into panels, but I was wondering what you guys thought?

Ignore the lack of a hole in the hood for the air cleaner, this will be re-added afterwards.
