Alright, some handling criticism, though I am aware of the issues you say that you know about in the actual post. Way too much steering angle on the stock rack (39° of toe should probably be toned down to 30 or 35), the brakes in general seem pretty overpowered considering that all the calipers on the real thing are single piston, the rears lock really soon and the whole thing is a little funky with the way that it wants to slide, it doesn't have the characteristic understeer before it breaks the rear loose. and something about the stance config, afaik you physically can't adjust or add camber to live axles. That so far are my thoughts on the handling. EDIT: One last thing, the engine seems to make about 40-50nm of torque more than it should. 180nm vs the 135 or so it should be.
Well, this is a really good mod! Except for one thing... So, I typically like to drive around in the base-model versions of vehicles and/or build low-spec versions of cars...so imagine my disappointment when I clicked on the SE version of this car... ...and find a 4A-GE under the hood instead of the signature 3A-U of the AE85. Yes, I know, it probably took quite a while to make this car and I'm grateful that a version of the Tofu Hauler of this quality even exists and that you took the time to model this, but I'd still like to have the 3A-U. Right now, the SE has 138 horsepower, at least 55 more than the real-life version had. That's a lot more power, and it pretty much makes this base-model version feel a lot faster than it should be. I know that it might be hard to find the right engine sounds for the 3A-U, but I'd take somewhat-inaccurate engine sounds over an annoyingly-overpowered base model that somehow has more power than the original GT-APEX.
Also, I think the car might a bit stronger than I expected. I tested the 200BX at 64 km/h, and the AE86 at 66 km/h. The data is pretty close, and somehow, the AE86 works as fine as the 200BX. But this is my perception, so I'd be fine with being proven wrong.
Someone should make a compilation of wrecking the AE86 while Mister regular is ranting about the 86 in the background.
It's amazing how you can't acknowledge that other people have different opinions than you over something that's easy to make an optional file instead of forcing everyone to have. Your opinion doesn't matter any more than their opinion, so don't act like it does. Their comment was relevant to the mod, yours wasn't.
