There isn't a model yet. Haven't been able to find one and cooper doesn't have time to put it in anyway.

The question was asked with the latest hotfix. As a totally new person to this game I thought it might be an especially useful opinion. I think that, perhaps with hotfix 18 as a nice round number, it would be extremely helpful to create a new thread that can have a constantly up to date first post. I only realized that there were updates to this mod not made by the creator upon viewing other threads of people having trouble with the original mod. You can't expect people to go through anything up to 20 of the most recent pages to find the newest hotfix, and otherwise you will continue to find people coming in and trying to run the original outdated version and having to be corrected, which then causes them more problems than they otherwise would've had what with caching and all. A new thread does mean some links will break, but this threads legacy will absolutely remain (Heck, link it in the new one as a thanks/acknowledgement!) Plus, it's reasonable to assume that people coming in from those old links will find their way to the newer thread and mod easier than they would have by digging through this one. The search function by default returns the newest stuff, and seeing a nice, clean, up to date thread would absolutely catch eyes of anyone competent enough to mess around with modding. Whereas I came in here, and was hesitant because the last edit to the original post was so old. Cause again, there's just no indication that there's something newer hiding in this massive thread. Anyways, that aside. Looking forward to starting out in BeamNG with this. As may be expected I am absolutely using mods to turn it into the ultimate Initial D game.
I already have a reason to check the last pages, one by one moving from the end to the beginning, why create a new thread, if you can edit the first post, and place the corrected version in it
All the same, In my subjective opinion, this is just creating a new topic, and how do you do it without the knowledge of the author
schumacher hasn't been active on the forums for almost 3 years. The chance of him coming back and updating the first post is really low. --- Post updated --- Valid opinion but guiding people from this thread to a new one would be the same amount of effort as just directing them to the newest version of the mod if it were still here. I really want a new thread but as it was said in the hotfix post, community feedback should dictate the decision.
