i think in a hot fix or update 18.0 you should try and get this sound its from and assetto corsa mod but he added reverb and shifted the pitch and track eq
I'd say the sound there could stand to be a bit deeper and wider, it's too delicate sounding and tinny for the throaty 4age. Best i've heard in a long time, though!
You don't need permission to make videos using the mod. --- Post updated --- The sound was recorded from rebuilding the silvertop in ange's engine sim. I do agree that it sounds low quality but it's the best we have for now. If his engine sim ever comes out fully, I'll probably do a lot of sounds with it.
Wasn't there some website that had weights of every part of the car measured? Just redo all the parts weight and stuff based on that
For Hotfix 18, can u do direct download cause my google drive wont come up, so i didnt download the 17.5 hotfix cause it wouldnt come, meaning im using Dingo's fix. Appreciate it.
Just change the weight of the body, engine and gearbox. This should be enough. Use the scalenodeWeight code in these three .jbeam files. Or recalculate engine and gearbox to be realistic and then adjust the body jbeam using scalenodeWeight until you hit the real life weight.

You are right i did scalenodeWeight on the body jbeam with the vendetta mod because it did not weight the same like a c3 corvette and when i did this happened:
This is exactly why you have to adjust each part separately by hand. And there could be more serious issues than this too.
There was and I have tried to edit weights in the past but it would never work. I would appreciate it if a real modder came in and fixed the real issues the mod has like the weight and lack of a solid rear axle.
I could try fixing the weight if you provide the data from that website, but only after someone swaps that solid axle so I don't have to redo a lot of it again.
