Some things she listed are issues of optimization and will probably never come/take years, but a lot of her requested features really aren't that complicated. Remember, the game engine and dev team has come a long way from just a few years ago. We are getting more updates now than ever before (in both major updates per year and hot fixes which add content. By the end of 2017 we will have had at least 3 major updates and numerous large hot fixes. I am obviously not counting the short one update/month experiment they tried). Some systems now have the groundwork implemented, which is probably by far the largest time consumer in terms of their development. For example, now that the sound groundwork has been introduced it's just a matter of introducing the files, not recoding the entire sound engine like where the game was two years ago.
How about the windshield popping out I know it wont pop out at speeds like 60 mph but when it's at speeds like 200 mph it's get pretty weird
This has been suggested many times before, but I agree. Often in crash tests the windshield can be seen peeling out in the corners at speeds as low as 40 mph/85 kmh if it spiderwebs or shatters. I think they should add a weak node on the bottom of the oil pan that, if hit off, can cause the car to start losing oil.
Anyone remember this game? Full credit to 4kaction Maybe having scratches appear on your vehicle as if you were to skid your vehicle along a wall...
What's the point of this? Burnout has present crash models similar to all EA/Rockstar/Ubisoft games I know off. And scratches have been discussed so much throughout the existence of this website, bringing it up at this point is beating a dead horse.
I didn't know that scratches had been discussed a lot, if I had known then I wouldn't have posted anything. Sorry I pissed off so many people.
I don't know anything else that I can suggest. I like the idea of having mechanical faults, it would be fun to have more in-game.
Super difficult to code, especially with Torque3D... I think your computer would blow up if they tried making some tsunami or a snowstorm happen. There is also the rareness (Is that even a word?) of it all happening It would be really weird to see natural disasters in a vehicle simulation anyway.
I wouldn't mind that. Maybe it'd be able to find a place in the career mode, depending on what that's going to be like
Check out the siren and horn mod,it makes most of the sounds you said. Link: https://www.beamng.com/threads/siren-horn-mod-and-more-3-6-2-work-with-0-10-0-1.38669/
I'm tempted to call this a bump but it was exactly a month That is true though, some mods will do just fine until/if they implement these features officially. This is the caboose of this thread, which is now dead!
