Hi guys, I've seen since I bought the game that when you crash the car, sometimes objects are going through the hud like the air filter, radiator, etc... and also the vehicle when is suspended touching the underside of the car with the ground.See image. I love the job the devs are doing, appreciate all the nice things are introducing, but this is a kind of a key issue in the physics, Isn't? It takes away realism, Someone knows if they are working on it?, I tried to search for it but I couldn't find anything, maybe I don't know which words to use to search for it. Thanks.

    Hello and welcome.

Press CTRL+N to toggle and cycle the node-debug modes (you may need to have 'Advanced Features' enabled in Options > Gameplay)
The sphere you'll see are the nodes that made the vehicle. Those nodes are what collides with the world (static objects).
You can see that with thin objects (like the ramp in your sample), nodes are not dense enough and will let the thin object through.
It's a trade-off between performance and node density. You can surely have more dense nodes to avoid this, but the power required to run things smoothly would be increased.

Please do note that we do not use few nodes: we still do use quite a lot for every vehicle (300 to 500), they are usually spread evenly on the body and panels.

Thanks for the info. So that means that Beamng will be like the good wine, it just can get better with the years and better PC's! ;)
