There is a lot of talk about the computers we own, but what about another piece of relatively pricey consumer electronics - TV sets? I don't have one myself, but there are a few in the house - the living room 2017 49" Full HD Panasonic smart TV, my sister's HD Ready 2005 32" LCD Samsung (big deal at the time), and the 1998 29" CRT Grundig sitting in the garage. Both older TVs used to do living room duty in the past.
I've got an old panasonic ~20 inch CRT TV. I don't use it, as the set-top-box for it is dead, but I have it.
Two of the televisions in the house are: A 1080p Dynex television that I got back in 2009-2010; it still works very well. There's a Vizio television that's no longer in use due to no available cable box for it and the fact that the stand didn't work well and you would need to hold it down unless it would fall over.
My TV is wonderful. I get to watch shows like Our Cartoon President and Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours To Hell And Back. You do you.
