This Hirochi Rush fell off a cliffside one day in June of 1986, it was in very terrible shape and was abandoned by its owner, assuming it was totaled. I found this car while hiking. I had asked the owner for the photo of what is used to look like.
This story might be a bit different to the others (because da plane) but i'll give it a go. In 1982, a RoR Cargo (owned by SRX airlines) Antonov AN12, flight number 913, took off from Loring Air force base, in Maine, heading for Hill Air Force Base, en route over one of the biggest canyons in Utah. About 95 miles (150KM) away from the canyon, engines 2 and 4 suffered a compressor failure, leading to the start of the plane's rapid descent. 20,000ft, 15000ft, 10,000ft, 5,000ft. The screams of the crew could be heard all the way from Canada, which would be justified for what would happen only seconds later. No luck restarting the engines, no luck getting the plane to pull up, just down, down and down. A nearby trucker took photos of what is one of the most terrifying incidents in aviation history. All of the 8 crewmen aboard the AN12 perished, and 2 Military personnel in a nearby hangar were heavily injured by a flying piece of metal. Here's where I come in, a passerby in a 200BX Diana, finding an abandoned airplane yard, with the remains of the plane involved in that disturbing crash, wondering if anyone brave enough could maybe, just maybe, restore the Antonov to its past glory. A group of Utahans have started restoring the plane, and as of the time I took that picture, they've finished painting it in its original RoR Cargo livery.
On a foggy morning in 2012, police from the Town of Saddler (a town very close to Saddler's Gorge) were pursuing a Gavril T-Series, owned by Trans-Global Freight, which was WAY over the weight limit, and fled from the weigh station. Two Officers in a Grand Marshal and Roamer were in the pursuit. The truck driver would soon figure out why there was a weight station in the first place... After around 10 minutes of running, the truck started to pass over Saddler's Gorge. The bridge collapsed under the immense weight, bringing the Truck's Trailer, and both Cruisers were taken down with it. The T-Series barely made it off alive. The driver panicked, and fled the scene. Two Sheriffs up the road were parked, drinking their coffee from Star-Beams ™ (heheheheh Starbucks parody) when the truck sped past them at over 60mph in a 45mph zone. The officers initiated a pursuit which lasted around 20 minutes, before a driver in a rental van took action and pulled in front of the T-series. The truck driver overreacted and swerved, but slammed into a canyon wall in a fiery wreck. The 2 officers and the trucker perished. The rental driver was praised as a hero, as the chase could have escalated quickly. This bridge collapse was known as the worst disaster of it's time in the area in Saddler County. The 2 police cruisers under the bridge were left there, along with the flatbed and pieces of the old bridge, as the recovery work would take too long and cost too much. During the time the bridge was being rebuilt, chaos broke out in the Town of Saddler, as the bridge was the only trade route with with companies on the other side of the gorge. This stopped all imports of food and supplies into the city. Riots broke out, people lit things on fire, protests, both peaceful and violent started. After what became known as the Saddler Survival Crisis, 14 people perished for various reasons. After 1.5 months the bridges finally was rebuilt, ending the drama. Both cruisers are beyond repair, and over the years somewhat intact parts were stolen from the mangled vehicles. Some say after the incident the bridge was haunted, as police officers crossing claimed to see some weird things, but this has never been confirmed. There is my story! I'm sorry for making you read that literal essay of a story Also sorry if my screen shots are kind of bad.(Saddler Gorge does not let you change time of day apparently?!?!) wowie zowie
Sorry for the bump, but here is a story. A gavril roamer sport sped down the highway towards a mercedes coming out of a bus stop. The roamer collided with a pole and the driver was killed instantly from blunt force trauma to the head upper and lower extremities. The Mercedes driver was uninjured. I got a photo of the two cars un-wrecked from march 2022. They still sit here until this day. The accident happened in september 2022. The city council plans to remove the Mercedes and repair it since it is repairable, and send the Roamer to a junkyard to be scrapped.

The once majestic B25 Mitchell Bomber that sored high in the sky, ruling proud above all below is now adondoned and forgotten in the erie darkness of the landscape. It's only until the early morning sun raises above the hills to again bathe it's warm light on the once mighty fortress of the skies, but for only a day it can feel proud once again. Dear viewer, The lighting in the second screenshot was added in 'World Editor' and placed to create this image
