WIP Beta released Template Map | Make your own map!

Sorry for just writing a random message but wouldn't it be possible to make an 8k map by making the height map res 8192 px?
I made some testing and didn't run into any problems. maybe you could add a 8k version of your template map.

 

The assets in the asset browser? Did it just stop loading suddenly? Could you send screenshots of the console? Might be something useful there

I don't know, I guess you could try that. Another way would be to use a 4k height map and setting the meter per pixels lower so it makes an 8k terrain, but then painting will be less accurate.

 

after setting up my map, everything is there except for the ground/terrain itself. I havent removed any files. How can i fix it?? When you spawn in you just fall forever

 

Could you tell more about what you did? By after setting up your map do you mean that getting it ready for publication?

 

yes thats what I did, I also changed description and title in info.json

 

Do you still have a backup before you zipped it? Did you use the in-game thing to package it?

 

i have a backup so I reseted it, but I wonder why it happens

no, it was still unzipped
