Making sure the wheels and suspension on a vehicle sit right is one of the most important things for making a vehicle actually look "good" in this game, irl the Lada Niva (and soviet/eastern european offroaders in general) typically have pretty high suspensions even compared to other vehicles of the time, let alone nowadays. With how yours currently looks it just looks like a normal saloon car but with a taller body opposed to a proper rugged offroader and makes the whole thing look very wonky as a result. Comparing against pictures of actual older Nivas shows just how "off" it looks, with yours almost looking like it's been slammed:
I have been looking at pictures of cars in a similar class, Suzuki Jimny, Lada Niva, and first Gen Jeep Cherokee. In all 3 the center of the wheel and therefore the axle are on the same level (Suzuki) or under the bottom of the body (Jeep and Lada). In pics posted of the Baikal, the body is below the axle. The in-game dev cars with off-road capability all have the axle below the bottom of the body. D-series, Hopper, Stambecco, Piccolina Baha, Roamer. Even the Ibishu Prodigy mod sits higher then the Baikal. Even the none 4x4 Fiat Panda from 1980 sits higher. The 4x4 sits higher still.
It's one of the few modern vehicles that offroad well. I don't hate modern cars and I'm able to tell the fact that there are less proper offroad vehicles nowadays, I guess they are less needed as there are more roads built everywhere.
what do you expect? technology and sience are developing really fast, so all of car brands will produce their car as electric cars like tesla in future --- Post updated --- they will change anyways aswell
i just answered the comment and plus, i replied to the comment of the creator of this tread (also, there are some of topic comments above the page)
before you take on more suggestions and requests do you think we'll get a beta soon even if its just the car for us to test?
Another thing that would help is raising the rear arches to be the same height as the front arches, as in your model they currently sit lower than the fronts.
