More dev updates would be nice, maybe not weekly. Monthly dev updates might be good, summarizing some of the progress of the month.

In regards to "short term" information, that is information about upcoming content in the near future, usually the next update, we are doing fine. The "long term" information is what we lack, hence why I feel that another blog post is far overdue.

Sometimes things in the game takes longer to process and develop, developing software isnt an overnight job it takes months and months to do

    Edit:

I should know I did software development on some private software about 10 years ago and it took myself my dad and my brother all working on it to get it working, 10,000 lines of code to make a program that could have been used to analyse a rugby union game at this point in I think 2009 or something the BBC was doing very basic reports with not much information while we had a program that could create web pages dump data out and all sorts of other good stuff to it and it provided more information than the BBC produces even now 10 years later!!

That's a given. Of course BeamNG has and will continue to take an enormous time to develop. The thing is, there have been a number of major projects that have been in development for years, such as career mode, UI, AI and such. I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record here, but that's why I strongly believe we need another "Something is still on the horizon" style blog post. These projects have been in the works for years, and we know very little about them, especially the former. A major blog post would allow the developers to let the community understand what the developers are seeing on their side, and educate the community on where BeamNG.drive currently is, what they want to do with it, and when in the future we might see it.
