Seems like the liftgate mod breaks the flatbed configs. Whenever I try to load a vanilla config t series with the mod active, it doesn't load.
Great mod by the way, but I may have found a small issue. When I spawn the base model 34ft trailer, the frontmost axle has black wheels and the other two axles have white wheels. It's easy to swap them out in the parts menu so they all match, but it seems its not like that by default. Not sure if that is intended or not, or if it is a problem with my setup instead of this mod. I think it was suggested earlier in the discussion but I would also love to see a 3-axle option for the dry van trailers, as far as I am aware only the container, flatbed, log, tilt deck, and dump trailers have a 3-axle option included with the game.
Oh snap, yo! --- Post updated --- I wonder if you could have Fun Physics add tie downs for the drop deck flatbed when it releases.
On the lowboy? --- Post updated --- By the way, if you're gonna add refrigerators to the dry van, the sides of the trailer itself may need to be changed. I'm using references from the ATS Reefer trailer for this.
hi i love this mod there use to be a mod likes this but it is out of date it had a nascar style hauler where you have the lift (the one you made) and the trailer has two stories for cars i was wondering if you could plz remake or add as a configure this plz (the mod is gravil t-series addon by ar126b)
It would almost be no surprise if stuff like rollable doors or wind deflectors would be a thing for the dry van. I explained this back to EFC a while ago now.
Thanks, the mismatch wheels on that configuration was an oversight. I hope to have some spare time soon to update this with some things. EFC made a triple bogie for the DryVan, that's why I left it out but perhaps I can add it also for those who want it all in one place. For the sake of realism, this is probably true. I'd like to do something like this in the future. Didn't even realize the roll-up door wasn't on the DryVan, Guess I assumed it was since the box upfits had it. Deflectors and skirts are definitely planned for vanilla DryVan --- Post updated --- I like it! Smells scrumptious --- Post updated --- Yes actually
about the trailer expansion lua issue, what worked for for me is unzipping and rezipping the file, it works fine after that
Any news on what's going on with the Repo? Here's an update for the trailer expansion that's been waiting approval since Monday.
Oh, and I just remembered something… 53ft container trailers, perfectly paired with 53ft containers as loads and props.
Yoink! Some quick observations about the 34 ft cargo trailer: No more paintjob conflicts, yay! The raised roof is nice, but it doesn't add a single pound of weight. Should probably be over 4,000 lbs empty. With a full load of aggregate, the loading ramp binds and won't come down on its own on any of the 34 footers. 50 psi is not a lot of inflation pressure for an axle load of 5,000 lbs.* The stiff springs handle the load well, but there's a lot of axle flex, with about 2 degrees of camber. Some reinforced portal axles would complement the stiff springs nicely. *I cooked up some heavy duty 80 psi 15x6 tyres. Let me know if you'd like to adopt them. If not, they're getting added to the next version of my trailer ABS mod. Note that they don't have the modified grip characteristics of your own custom tyres.
I've got an idea for a trailer you could add: basically, it would be the enclosed cargo trailer, but it's the same size as the small flatbed trailer.
Tiltdeck: With 2 rows of boxes, load position adjustment moves the straps, but not the boxes themselves No brakes on the 4th axle
