I can suggest an idea, to make a trailer for oversized transportation. Just in the game there are no such trailers, there are only flatbed. For example:
This already exists https://www.beamng.com/resources/wider-enclosed-trailer.28431/ --- Post updated --- FunPhysics has 2 paid heavy duty trailers on his patreon, while not the style youre looking for, they're far better than the stock trailer for heavy loads https://www.patreon.com/posts/fp-trailer-pack-147658173
FunPhysics has 2 paid heavy duty trailers on his patreon, while not the style youre looking for, they're far better than the stock trailer for heavy loads https://www.patreon.com/posts/fp-trailer-pack-147658173[/QUOTE] While his trailers do handle weight well, they are NOT great for realism or roleplay where axle limits and weight distribution come into effect. Sadly Fun Physics trailers are only 3 axle trailers like the current flat deck trailers we have. While his trailers happily carry 50-60 tons of payload they don't do it in a realistic manner where a setup like that would have 4-6 axles on the trailer alone. I did ask him if he planned on making booster axles or a jeep/dolly and he wasn't panning on it. I think a lot of us are just craving a True proper heavy haul setup.
Hello all, I'm back from a small break. I will include the pintle hitch as a part on current configurations, I believe this should remedy this behavior. I have plans for either a horse or cattle trailer. I also have plans to introduce my own trailers for oversized loads. Thanks! As I mentioned above, plans to bring other options for ultra heavy-duty trailers are currently in the works. I'm also a stickler for realism, stay tuned!
Any plans on adding semi versions of these?, I won’t be surprised if this has been suggested before. View attachment 1283798
That's actually what I originally planned for but I can make trailers of this type come with a gooseneck hitch as well as one for a fifthwheel.
MD Liftgate seems to get hung up on the flatbed, not sure about the box, i didnt test it. Top hydraulics dont seem to be doing anything
Yeah this happens, less of an issue with the box. I'm still not entirely sure why. Can be avoided by making sure the platform is on level before lift/lowering.
Still likely something on your end. Keep all other mods disabled. Delete liftgate mod, then clear cache. Re-download and test again. --- Post updated --- Ahh I see, scratch that last comment sorry. MD60 doesn't auto load tiltdeck materials. Unpack mod, replace "ramp_main.materials.json" in BEAMNGUSERFOLDERLOCATION\mods\unpacked\ta_liftgate\vehicles\md_series with the uploaded file. Will be fixed in next hotfix but this will do the trick. EDIT: For some reason uploading the file removes the period between "main" and "materials". Rename and add this back in to avoid issues. Should look like "ramp_main.materials"
I must be doing something wrong, but for the liftgate, when I attempt to lower it with the side levers on the rear nothing happens. Only the ramp extension lever works. Is it broken or am I just dumb. lol
Are ramps planned for the flatbed trailer? If this has been already mentioned/discussed sorry . I like the mod btw!
