@epicfacecanada Further testing has found the other culprit to be Universal Monsta Frame. With both mods enabled it causes the issue, with only either or it works fine. The only problem is it didn't start until 0.25 of your mod.
hi, can you extend the sleep cabover on short frame ? (there are two trucks in the picture) edit: with a sleeper box in the back for example
Update 0.27 - Added 26ft Soft-Top Upfit. - Added 'M.S.V.W' Config Note: the canvas cover is not fully Jbeamed and there isn't a rear door.
Mind making a more conventional version of the Road Ranger (as in, have all 18 gears in line (1,2,3,4,...,17,18))? Not all of us have the motivation to put in bindings for stuff we don't even know how to properly use :d
Why though? The 18-speed is for if you want to replicate shifting of an actual Eaton gearbox. If you're on controller the dual-shift or dual-shift-plus work just fine. If you hate shifting the auto-shift will do it for you and even has a manual mode to it.
Not yet. It will be soon. EDIT: I typically push updates to the forum first and once I'm sure I didn't completely break something I'll then push it to repo.
I have a personal, (mostly) fixed version of the B-Series, and that one has a conventional 18-speed gearbox. I'm not suggesting to replace the shifting technique the Road Ranger currently works with, but rather have both as differentiated gearboxes. Trust me, you'll surely lose valuable time searching what rangebox to toggle, and most of us don't have that much time :d
No. I personally despise such transmissions. I conceded on the Auto-shift as that is commonplace in modern trucks but I will not add such a simplified manual transmission. If you want to add it yourself go ahead, that's a great first mod to make. I'd even give you pointers to get started but I'm NOT adding it myself.
Hey, do you think its possible to make a horseshoe shift pattern in beamng? This isn't a request, I'm just curious.
Watching this reminds me that the axles should be lifted by default. Also, just to show that it can be done this way, the drop/lift axles can be steerable.
I can see If I can make them lift by default though I'm not sure if my implementation will allow for it. Steerable tags I have tried and failed to get it to work properly
The lift/steer combo has been tried on the B-Series before. I'm not sure if it worked before, but now using it makes the truck implode.
I want to know if I'm the only one who noticed that the tire position of the wide aluminum wheel is incorrect
