Day 5: Tried to make AKG K92 headphones I'm very proud of what I accomplished this time, even though again, it just uses materials & a simple texture for the white "AKG" logo on the side (couldn't find the same one as on the real headphones). They obviously lack some features like the "wrapped" leather on the earcup part or writing on the bigger flat spot on the side etc. but I love how that turned out. I'm more proud of that than the lava lamp
Day 6: Minimalistic desk Nothing special, just a desk. Today I didn't really feel like modeling, so made this based on a real one (in shape).
Day 7: Satellite This is the last day of me learning subsurf, so I wanted to create something... big(ish). Here it is! A satellite It may not look the best due to being coloured with just materials, but I've made it. Started a bit late on it, since I didn't know what to make for today, but finally decided on this & done it the best I can. Definitely not professional level, but it's quite cool
A few renders of mine (also a upcoming mod of mine) (hks cam pulley) (Nardi Wheel) I have a whole bunch more aswell, im just too lazy to find the photos haha. also im 15yo.
i modeled the body kit on the fc rx7 but the original model is a forza rip. i got the track from rfactor, its derip hill. i modified the textures alot and remodeled some stuff and took out a whole lot. i added grass and a hdri image. oh also plus a few hours of compositing went into the scene. View attachment 467461 I modeled everything on the Nissan Hardbody, i modeled the cams, i modeled the nardi wheel. on the 370z scene i made the paint material and i modeled the road and did the textures for that.
I just realized how the triangles make my poly flow look like ass I mean its not that great, but i'm improving!
I think that is looking quite good! Ending/splitting edge loops is hard, that is where everything I make fails bad. Not sure if anything else than practice helps with it though. This is bad also because of I did not understood that using quads should be way to do it, lots of shading issues etc:
Heres another wip! I decided I want to continue making my audi. The old mesh was pretty bad compared to what I know now so im starting over.
I decided to start modeling a Ford Transit Connect. Some guy said he wanted to see one in beamng, and I kinda do to, so why not I have to say though People who make blueprints Please when your making them ALIGN THEM CORRECTLY SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO GUESS EVERY OTHER PLACE TO PUT A NODE
So, here's a few cars that will be making there way to BeamNG eventually That i have either made new or resurrected from my archive: @SPENCER6665555999 They will all get interiors eventually. and fancy 'glass' headlights.
So here is another test render of my Nissan Hardbody. (dont mind the weird sun discoloration, i have no clue whats causing it) I just noticed i forgot to texture the inter cooler hahah Decided to try out this studio lighting, it actually doesn't look that bad (400 samples) Edit> Few more renders: (this one is at a lower sample rate, thus more 'fireflies')
