Some new images about my modeling work. Last time it was about the db7 which is almost complete.
Since that I took some time to build an E36 coupe. I tried to reproduce the real one that I owned some years ago whitch is now owned by one of my friends.

After a blank period without launching blender, I decided to do the same with my previous volvo 850 :


Where I am at the moment, the big stuff is over, I have to make all the little things that transforms an "ok" model into a nice one (lot of details = huge time to spend into)




I think I improved my models concerning the car headlights & tailights which are important to obtain a realistic result. I'm happy about that.
I think I can do better with plastic matters.
Feel free to ask for files if you plan to integrate these models into blender (but I suppose they are too detailed to obtain a fps friendly result...).

 

Somes news about that Volvo.
The exterior is nearly finished at this time (I would like to add some minor elements (bumper aero trims center view mirror, and other details...). I've just seen that I have a reflection aberration in some of the windows. I will have to reduce the IOR to minimum.
I'm satisfied with this result. Is it worth spending time on to modeling the interior as well?
I will be glad to have you impressions/opinion.

Just started modelling my phone and couldn't stop... tomorrow I will add the LG logo and correct the colours.

Sadly I have no experience in converting models to games
I tried briefly with my Db7 to Assetto But I really lack time to complete the process.

Again, if someone want to use it to make a beamng mode I will give the .blend file

 

You should start a thread. People would gladly take it. Anything to avoid using Russian models.

Oh and Stalker very nice 850 you made,good detailing good work and the right exhaust you added fits the car perfect, the real car should have this.I worked for 10 years as a mechanic for Volvo so i know this car, didn't work alot on them tho, more on the newer post 2000 models like v70 and s/v40

Thank you (u and walrus ) Indeed the right exhaust tip is quite cool. The 850 I had was an AWD one with the 2.5 turbo. It had 2 exhaust boxes but only one tip at the left one. Some owners purchased the R one which ad the 2 exits (and then was way more nicer )

 

I jump at the chance that a new mod's coming. the lack of wagons (that are Originally wagons) in these threads are disturbing.
