    How to fix this problem: Remove the propeller :p

    This is not a bug, nor a problem, this also happens in real life. I'm not able to say though, if in real life the effect is more or less noticeable in this kind of aircraft that what depicted in this mod, as I've never flown myself a high performance aerobatic aircraft like an Extra 300S or similar :p.

    You are mainly experiencing the torque effect caused by the propeller. It requires constant active corrections, you are not supposed to fly hands off at any time in an aerobatic aircraft anyway.

    This is why I love BeamNg, this feature is non-scripted, it simply emerges as a natural product of the vehicle structure. :D

    (Actually there is a random bug that happens when removing the propeller from the parts selector menu. If you want to fly the aircraft without a propeller and experience how non-propeller-torque flight feels, re-download the zip in the first post and replace any previous versions. I've updated the zip.)

    It is called the torque effect. The propeller spinning one way results in the aircraft spinning the other way. Realism, not a bug.

    Can someone please make a pylon racing map for this plane. This is awesome! (I would make a map, but to be completely honest, I am a total noob and am horrible at creating thing.) Also, Carlos, can you please make the wings a bitt stress-tolerant, I keep doing loops and the wings keep coming off. Thanks!:D

    So the prop torque is actually real then. I really need to learn how to make some mods on this... You did say though that you are unhappy with the sounds. I do have a 6-cylinder sound file that possibly could fit this plane.

    I don't know what you are talking about. :p I didn't change anything. And yeah, I agree a pylon race map as you said would be very cool.

    I actually had a prototype of that before, I deleted it though. But nah, that wouldn't be realistic at all anyway. And I don't have planned to make the wings stronger, I like the way they are now in this aspect, it only requires being a bit careful when flying.

    Please send me a pm regarding the sounds, I'm interested. And yeah the prop torque is real, nothing faked :p.

    Yeah, it's possible :). I've actually successfully landed with one wing. :p

    I fixed this problem and updated the zip in the main post. Re-download the aerobatic.zip again and replace it in your mods folder.

    Probably because you did some serious maneuvers in the yellow arc. Check the airspeed indicator and ensure that the needle is pointing in the green arc otherwise doing tight maneuvers will rip the wings off.

    On a side note, you can always learn to fly and land with one wing :p. It's not very easy, but it's doable.



    You just need:
    ·Enough altitude to recover from the initial dive.
    ·A lot of airspeed to sustain the flight.
    ·Full opposite rudder to counteract the roll and create lift.

    a very smart thing to do is put trim on for the rudder.
    V-B would go good with the current controls

    really enjoying this mod, are you still looking for an engine sound? i have a ton! not exactly shure of all the sources anymore, many are from old games and mods. see, anytime i find a sound i like/think will be usefull i save it, so i can use it later. at one point i even had all my vehicles in beamng with different sounds! anyway i love playing with sounds, tell me what exactly you want the engine to sound like and ill see what i can dig up. i also edit sounds so if you find something and its not quite right id be happy to help.

    maby something like this?
