Now, the title is self explanitory, but I thought I'd supply some achievement suggestions below. They aren't labeled with fun names (I can do that, but I'm too lazy), just what they are. Download A Mod/Have a mod installed Have 50 Mods Installed Have 100 Mods Installed Have 500 Mods Installed 1 Achievement per official Scenario Drive 1/5/10/20 miles in traffic in one car, in one save, without triggering police or an accident Explore Each Map Discover [insert secret Utah cave location here] Drive Each stock car and configuration (as well as view to see which ones you haven't) Pull a trailer with a Pigeon Crash 100/200/1000/5000/10000/100000 times Trigger crash detection on Drive 10/100/1000 miles Tow a car Those are just some ideas I had, I'm sure there are more that could be implemented.
Eh I mean there’s no point nobody cares about steam achievements. They’re trying to make it like a social platform but 99% of people just use it to launch games
Ideas are interesting, but probably most gamers will ignore them. But maybe if achievements are unusual, something You wouldn`t do in real life, then maybe. For example: -Overheat car within 6 seconds or less (name suggestion: ''It's getting hot!''), -Do reverse wheelie in Drag Covet while doing drag race on WCUSA (name suggestion: ''Wrong gear...''), -Achieve 400km/h without mods, (name suggestion: ''Speed is a lot mate!''). I don`t know what You guys think about these, so... any thoughts?
Have 500 mods installed? A lot of people don't have the storage space to do that, and even if they do, that would be a LOT of mods to download just for an achievement.
Mods are like 250mb each it would be fine. I once installed 1000, actually didn’t slow down load times at all surprisingly but none of them worked
I think at that point, you got past the game's loading capacity... unless you mean you added 1000 empty zip folders
We've had this discussion already. It was quite long and people realized that the best achievements were the ones that had you go out of your way to do something (Think Stanley Parable achievements). "Chooo Chooo" if you have at least 5 tow cars towing each others (if tow cars gets added) "Danger to Manifold" break a car's engine in less than 20 seconds after spawning not having to collide into something else "Kachow" Beat a race against AI opponents crossing the finish line in a car that cant drive anymore "Quirks and features" Drive every single official car in every single official variant for at least 10km Things like that.
Actually no, just a few lines that I like - it's like an intersection near me when viewed top down, but oversimplified into a geometric design
Having achievements that hinge on installing mods is not the best idea. The other ones are fine though.
Dude seriously, what is the point of denying every single thread? Feels good to be the antagonist? This type of behaviour in the forums are useless.
I have a few games where I really use them, and that's kind of what I was thinking of... they kind of help guide gameplay when you get bored.
