My only concern is about the air filter being on the back side of the engine and facing the firewall. How's that gonna help airflow into the intake?

LOVING it. wish it had a better turning radius though, have to use reverse a LOT to get it around corners.

Irl some of these have 4 wheel steering as far as I know, maybe it could be added as an option, would certainly be a unique feature

Having the diffs locked probably widens the turning radius.

even unlocked, if you don't blip it to force a wheel spin you cant even get a u-turn done on most roads. Such a pity as it means i head back to the trusty old ibishu hopper for the new map.

Idk, haven't noticed any weird turning behavior with the diffs unlocked.

Very nice model Ferrettank, love the mid engine design and the way it handles the rocks.

My only complaint is the very limited turning on the front axle, making it very difficult to place your car correctly on some of the very tight trails.

One quick question though, why run a panhard bar setup if you're use hydro steering? normally they run a setup with a panhard bar up front if there's a steering linkage, to prevent bump steer. but since you have hydraulic steering it makes more sense (for simplicity) to run a triangulated 4 link.

I just found out that the front axles of all three Rockbasher variants have the Welded Diff option, meaning its always locked. So there's your turning difficulty.

Except that the front diff on all versions is lockable, meaning you can unlock it. the rear diff is welded.
But this is besides the point, the wheels actually turn less than the Hopper's, that combined with the longer wheelbase makes the turningradius significantly bigger.

Cars are eyeball aligned along the stripe on the road. I placed the cars like this due to the ackermann on the steering geometry.

Thought it was the other way around, for some reason. Yeah, it's quite more open than the linkage of the Crawler Hopper.

hopefully this means someone will work on fixing this officially, interim is there a hacky way to fix the car until the devs get on it, I tried taking it to the trail on the island, hopeless. have to make so many 3- 4 point turns to try get around.

Extended gearing with Stage 3 block (max rpm ECU too) Rock Racer at 740 hp literally drives like a trophy truck at 163 mph =)

The SP rockbasher - rock racer has the same problem with the unacceptable Front Suspension Drives and arms as the d 15 rock racer!

The front suspension keeps failing on me, I'm not if sure if something with diffs or range box. It's very annoying.
