Sounds Suggestion

I joined in December 2017 after the audio update. I've know about BeamNG for 4 years. All the older videos I watch have the old noises and I'm like "Man, I wish I experienced the old noises." I think there should be a little box where you can Have the old sounds or not. By default it wouldn't be checked off. But if you go to options>audio, scroll down, and have the box at the bottom. Also, I think that in options>interface, could have the old interface.

 

Trust me, you don’t want those old sounds. Every engine had the same sound(I’m not sure about the T-Series engine). I mean older mods still have the old sounds but they might be outdated.

 

why would you want the old sounds? They're terrible.

 

Isn't the old noises active if you remove the engine sound section from the jbeam? You could try that.

 

Ive never experienced them, so I cant say theyre terrible or not. Its just a suggestion, doesnt mean its gonna happen

they replaced them to make the game more realistic. not because they were terrible.

 

Maybe you should look for the old demo version instead? It will give you the wheel hop and all the other stuff you desire

 

How should I look it up? 0.4.0.6 demo?

 

Steam->right click BeamNG.drive>Properties>Betas>0.4.0.6

Old sounds are there. Except from Covet i think

edit: i also have techdemo but i can only use one car

 

i meant that that's the only way to get old sounds, you have to use an older version, sorry

 

i cant get the properties up for the betas. also, do i have to pay for it?

 

If you care about the old sounds, I don’t know why you would, I have the techdemo and the sounds make the Covet sound like a pickup truck, but anyway:
