This is definitely one of the most impressive community mods I've seen in a long time! That being said, I do have two quick criticisms. First, the nose/roof crumple inward after takeoff. A few other people have pointed this out as well, so I'm sure you're aware of this. Second, the elevators always break off when you leave the rudders turned in any direction. Aside from that, this mod is absolutely stunning. The controls are really well done, and it handles nicely. Great work! Pic 1: crumpled roof and nose after takeoff; Pic 2: elevators breaking after using the rudder (to the right); Pic 3: elevators breaking after using the rudder (to the left)
Very cool, but broken controls This is one of the best aircraft additions to BeamNG.drive, but the controls are slightly bugged for me, "E" "T" and "Y" do not control throttle for me, instead it is all controlled with "G" (including the landing gear); just wondering why this is happening
Re: Very cool, but broken controls Check the controller config to see if the key_* is mapped correctly (* being T,Y,etc)
How to start the engine?? im' using version 0.3.8.0 im' pressing the e key nothing, im' pressing any key nothing...
Re: Socata ST-10 Diplomate (v 1.04f|APR 2) Inputmap Hi, It is a very nice mod and a would like to know how to change the input map for the throttle control as I have an european keyboard with my "Y" is not near the "T".
Re: Socata ST-10 Diplomate (v 1.04f|APR 2) Inputmap Hey! You can change it in the controller options that were introduced in the new versions of BeamNG.
Re: Socata ST-10 Diplomate (v 1.04f|APR 2) Inputmap (Dummiesman: Hey! You can change it in the controller options that were introduced in the new versions of BeamNG) Whats the name the throttle in the game?
I made a short video a while back displaying how to do it (somewhat) http://www.beamng.com/threads/12826-Can-t-setup-controls-(0-3-7-8)?p=199908&viewfull=1#post199908
Hey, Dummiesman, you gonna add roll/pitch/yaw to this thing? If not, can you make a tutorial on how to assign the keys for it properly?
One they're ready I'll add per-vehicle bindings to this so they don't conflict with other vehicles. For now it uses shared keys.
go to the controller config menu and make sure that "key_y" and "key_t" have a keyboard binding attached to them.
Are you sure the real life thing has nose wheel steering? Most aircraft just have castering ones that turn when left/right wheel brakes are used.
i dont know how to make it fly, is there something I'm missing? the plane just sits there and wont move. my best guess is im in the wrong version.
