Like the title suggests, would we be likely to see slot machines ingame after finishing a race or something? I'm talking about slot machines that give cars based on what you win, of course.

Cars given by the slot machine should have drawbacks though, like being unable to be modified or repaired, and also have problems like no radiator, being completely stripped, or having no brakes.

To give an example of what I mean, say a player finishes a race, but in last place, but a slot machine pops up on his screen along with all the other players in the race. Say the player gets the minimum prize, the game should select a random car from a pre-generated prize pool and do various things to it, with the minimum prize having the most "bad" modifications to it, while maximum prizes should have the most "good" modifications. "Bad" modifications should include missing brakes, no suspension, or being stripped to the bare minimum. "Good" modifications should include turbocharged engines or having lightweight parts replacing heavy parts. Another factor that should be in the slot machines should be luck values, which determine how likely you are to get a "bad" or "good" car, and what modifications are done to it. Luck values should increase as you lose races, and should decrease as you win, so that players that lose a whole lot still have a chance at getting a shiny sports car, even if it doesn't have brakes or is stripped, while better players are going to have more cars to crash for fun. Slot machine cars should also be able to be "stolen" by damaging the car to a certain extent, but the damage would be unable to be repaired by the new owner. "Stolen" slot machine cars should also have additional problems when put into the garage of the newer owner, and not just ones caused by normal smashing, like fuel tanks leaking or missing a couple of seats, or even having the engine downgraded. "Stealing" a car should also prevent the player from obtaining another slot machine car like normal, so he/she can't get a beat up and stripped Moonhawk along with a shiny stripped Grand Marshal sport edition with heavy duty brakes at the end of a race.

I think slot machines that give cars would change up the game so that people who lose a whole lot are still going to have the fun of getting new cars as if they were an experienced player earning cash to purchase cars, while older experienced players would be able to gain some more cars that they can do whatever they want in without caring about expenses.
