    First, thanks for the help and the tutorial links!
    Second, do I have to do the copying and pasting manually or is there something like a plugin for that? (I just asked of curiosity, because, I cannot imagine, that everyone is using nodeBeamEditor, as it is quite outdated now... Or is this the way, how the devs do their JBeams?!)

    Nodebeam is kinda outdated, but some still use it.
    The devs use text editors, I even heard that someone (I think it was Gabester but not sure tbh) uses normal notepad! I personally use notepad++, and set the color coding to json for better clarity, since that’s what jbeam is based on. And I heard there’s a blender plugin to make jbeams, but idk how good it is.
    I like helping people with mods, I had to figure some stuff out from the internet a lot, and I feel like helping people with information is pretty cool :D

    Okay, I guess, I will try to create the Jbeam then step by step. It will take a long time and I can´t say, if it will work. I found a Blender plugin by thomatoes50, maybe it will help, but I will need to look how it works first. After the Jbeam is done, I will try myself again on textures. I hope in the meantime someone updates the wiki or helps in another way.

    I also can´t promise, that I will find time to work on this, because of school starting in two days. It´s my final year and I will have lot of things to practice. I hope, you understand that.

    This will be my first attempt of JBeaming, so dont expect to much, but I watched a few tutorials and I learned a lot.
    Tomorrow, I will start, if I have the time.

    Anyone has good JBeaming tutorials, how to JBeam a car fast. Because, I looked on the documentation pages about JBeaming and tried to create a basic shape, like they did it there, but I´m struggeling quite a bit and wonder, if there is an easier way, creating a JBeam.
    I already tried several times, to edit the JBeam of vanilla cars, but I wasn´t successful...
    JBeam is an important part of every mod and I honestly don´t want, to release the mod with unedited cherrier JBeam...

    Thank you, I will watch it soon and then I will restart to edit the JBeam of a vanilla car, because I spended like one week of unsuccessfully JBeaming tries (I not documentated all) and will put this aside. Maybe the JBeam will be edited then, but I can´t guarantee, that the openables will work then...
    But this is another thing, I will go on, if JBeam is (sometime) finished!

    What exactly do you mean with cursed? Explain it please, so I can maybe do something against it.

    Only, to make it clear, I´m not gonna create a scratch made JBeam for this car, because this is my first mod, and I have enough trouble with textures and glowmaps. I tried the whole day, creating a scratch made JBeam for this car and I failed hilaryously. I wont give up on this, but for this mod, I won´t do it again.I will try, to edit the JBeam of a vanilla car, maybe the covet, which is smaller, than the vivace and then, I will try, to add the rear doors... Something like that, but don´t expect any progress before the next weekend, because, I have to do with school and won´t have much time for modding. I hope, you understand it...

    If you meant the version in this picture, it was my first attempt to make a combi version of it. I already remodeled it.

    Editing an already existing jbeam is a good idea for something like this, especially if it’s your first mod.
    I decided to make a custom jbeam from scratch for my mod, and let me tell you, it takes quite a while :p

    Which of your mods is it? The "unnamed kei coupe"? Well, you are totally right with this. I have enough texture and glowmap problems, I have to fix, I simply haven't time, beside school to work much on it.

    I found by accident something out. The car got currently the blender materials from the etk 800. I spawned my mod and the etk was spawned too. And for some reason, the car had suddently complete textures, with clearcoat and everything? Does anyone understand this? I don't get it...

    Yes, that’s the mod I’m talking about.

    It’s because it then uses materials from the spawned in 800, that’s why it’s all complete suddenly.
    For example, if you have a material, but it isn’t defined or has no correct textures, but there’s another car spawned that has the same material but it is defined correctly, then the undefined one will magically work. Kinda strange, but that’s just how it is :p

    Thanks for the explanation! But is there any way to use the materials from the 800, without the car is spawned? Because this is, I guess, my problem with the textures...

    Do you have a materials file included in the Skoda? If not, copy the main.materials.json file from the 800’s and into the Fabia’s folder. This way, it will read these materials and utilize the textures in the ETK.
    But, if there is an incoming change to the 800-Series, to prevent the mod from being broken (Like the ETK 1300 for example) you’ll need to copy the .dds files from the 800 to the Fabia and change the file paths in the main.materials.json file. But then again, 0.28 was the refresh of these vehicles so they propably won’t get major changes anytime soon :D
