Thanks we have been needing a simpler skin tutorial for awhile. After a few minutes (don't know how much) I came up with this fast and furious inspired paintjob.
Doesn't work for me :/ I created a skin and followed all the steps. Was I supposed to rename the file to dds?

it now says there was an error opening the file, so now I can't send it to you :/ I'll try the tutorial again and see what happens
Ok it's because you change the proportions of the dds image , the best is to keep the exact same proportions of the original one : (ex: 2048x2048 for the covet) Thank you , i have now added an advice on the tutorial about this
just ask how can you do some paint on the glass just like the one on Sunburst Custom, I have noticed that this is not mentioned in the simple skin tutorial, I asked yesterday but you guys didn't reply to me I have already wrote a jbeam and a material.cs, I basically copied those stuff in the original Sunburst files, but the new texture is not showing up with the livery, I'll put all my stuff down below
Well they said the meeting have ended and I think this will be a good question to show up here 'cause maybe there are other people want to do this too, and as I said devs didn't mentioned it in the tutorial
There's an official UV map coming next update, but until then you need to know UV unwrapping. Easy concept, very hard to master.
