What's up with the signature image size limit? It's 9.8KB, which is insanely small. There's no reason that I can think of for having such tiny size limits. Storage is definitely not a factor as the forum allows 500MB .mp4's and 800MB .zip's! I suggest making the maximum size 5MB and around 600x150, then there's actually room for things.
People with limited data connection would have to load other people signatures then.. I don't have any problem with 9.8kb, you just have to know how to compress an image that much without loosing too much quality.
I can understand doubling it to 20 kB, but 5 freakin' MB?? You know how much that is? With 20 kB you'd have plenty of room. With 5 MB you could have a video in you signature! Like Nadeox says, you just need to compress it well. kB*
