grand marshal jbeam fits a bit, but the pessima jbeam would've fit better.

Light bar on this doesn't work, only a stationary part. sad

No police department mentions are on the paint job. In fact, it looks like the department markings were intentionally removed.

JBEAM is high-effort, nice!

Has a custom "flashers" camera at the top, above the light bar.

Overall great quality, and aged pretty well.



What really sucks is well, neither of these 2 have working light bars. Would it be possible to replace these with a similar-looking light bar that works(siren and lights)?

 

You're telling me peoples did a New car mod that just police-oriented instead of stock . Can we at least remove the skin or the lightbar on one of them ?

For something from early 2014, this holds together really well.

Grand Marshal jbeam, as expected from third-party crown victoria mods.

The rear lights are texture-less for some reason. Markings also seem to be low resolution, even though texture quality is set to high.

the light bar doesn't work at all, not even jbeamed!

This has 1 cool thing in it, colored headlights! named "HID _k headlights".

With these, you can at least have police headlights lol

Could use upscaled(and fixed) textures, a slightly modified jbeam, working light bar, and a horn/siren.

Does anyone know why all my recent downloads from worldofpods have been prompted to be sent for scanning? All of the scans came clean(no malicious files detected), though. I'm resting assured knowing the scans were fine, but it's odd it's asked me to send it for scanning every recent download from there. Like this one.

Well, what are we supposed to do about it? The Assetto Corsa community tried making a list of bad mods, and it hardly did a thing. I know Nielogical made a whole video warning about places like Modland, but I doubt that worked either.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of the people using such mods are either kids who don't care about the quality and just want to drive their favorite car, or people who've looked all over for the car they want and can't find anything else. In both cases, its their loss if they choose to use them anyway. Hell, I found your post because I was looking for an R34 Skyline only to find there aren't any good ones out there yet.

Why are car game modding communities always so screwed up?

 

There was a descent quality(for third party standards) Skyline mod that I found and posted a few pages ago.

Word of advice: don't spawn multiple meshslaps that use the same jbeam

Due to technical issues that I don't understand, the Russian cop car's headlights and glass are on every other meshslap that uses the grand marshal jbeam.
(skyline has a modified but still grand marshal jbeam)

Traffic mod perhaps? I remember hearing that BeamNG traffic started as a mod and it could be a reupload of that, or the original traffic AI.

Although I doubt it would have worked, replacing new game scripts with 7 year old ones is bound to break something.
