After a quick googling i think i counfounded it with McAfee, it seems fine

 

I will admit, I used avast when testing out antivirus software. It was hell. Took 30 minutes for the uninstaller to actually start doing anything, with ads for other avast software coming up all the time. It is a lot of things, most of them are bad, but it shouldn't be classified as spyware. It is probably closer to adware.

 

I just use malwarebytes.
