Apologies for not giving updates for a while - I've had a lot more going on then I originally expected. I have good news and bad news. The good news is, I reached a point where I was going to release the map. The bad news is, between me making that choice a few nights ago, and me actually going to do it yesterday, v0.39 dropped and it has broken the map quite badly. It looks like multiple assets have moved, particularly textures. There is also a new system for terrain textures that blocks you from editing them if there are any errors, even ones that don't really matter. I am working on fixing these issues. As it stands we're looking at a few days to fix everything but I haven't looked around in that much depth, there could be more issues I'm not yet aware of.
So release is very soon? Very cool! I think my map is fine somehow, but I cant properly test because MY WHOLE GAME is broken at, and it's a single mod(out of 400) so i have to find it.

For some reason, I tried to download it but Windows said it's a virus. Anyway you can put it on a familiar site like Google Drive?

I should've checked that I have fixed this and uploaded the new version. --- Post updated --- Odd... there aren't any executables or anything that's likely to be flagged. Was it a specific file that was flagged or the entire zip? I will look into putting it somewhere more traditional, although I don't have a google account.
not sure if its client side but the ground is black everywhere and it kinda spoils the map, im not sure if this is done for optimization, but if it can be fixed that would be good. thanks

Hello all, I apologies for not updating you for a while - life has been chaotic. I'm going to be honest with you, whilst things have let up a little, it's going to be at least a few more weeks before I have much time to work on this. I'm going to try and communicate a bit more in the meantime, but can't promise any updates will be dropped. I have confirmed that career works on the current version of the map, so the career mod has been added to the folder. You can now also access the download folder via google drive since that was requested, and I appreciate Proton is a little bit niche. Note that a lot of career functionality is missing - details will be on the main post - but if you want to do longer distance deliveries or deliveries on a variety of roads, then it's worth playing. There is also some event progression, with you progressing through street races, some proper races, and even HGV training and circuit driving tests. This is still a WIP though, especially street racing. The map also works well with the dynamic weather system in RLS, it looks surprisingly good. Overhaul The map as a whole is also going to undergo an bit of an overhaul. A map/mod creator called ManicGamingGuy has recently released a tool for building roads which includes proper kerbs and pavements - something beam technically had, although I could never get the included tool to work well (and this tool also has many other features). This also comes with a set of UK house assets that are simply far better than what I have. I still need to reach out and confirm the terms of using these in the map though. These tools will make future development significantly faster, whilst also outputting better results. However, it also means I have to go back and replace all of the houses I already have, as well as redoing a significant number of roads. The approach to flood mode has also been changed significantly, essentially making sure that all of the roads actually look wet instead of just adding big pools of water. This will take some time. Career overhaul has also thrown a bit of a spanner in the works here as it can make roads look wet itself as part of the dynamic weather system. It looks like it just makes decals very shiny. I need to make sure that doesn't conflict with the decals I'm using in a way that makes my puddles look like literal mirrors (I still need my decals as I'm placing them in a way that creates the appearance of water flowing downward where there are slopes - RLS can't do that). Thank you for your patience. --- Post updated --- The main link on the OP now points to Google Drive. I have confirmed that most key functionality (deliveries, buying cars, garages) works. The mod to add Sedgemoor to the RLS Career Overhaul map list has been released. You can also travel there using a map switcher in game - this will spawn you near the Northern edge of the map. This is a bug that seems to occur with larger or more detailed maps... at least, the other maps I've seen this on had one of those traits. In some cases, restarting the game is all that's needed. I have also seen it where launching one modded map, then moving to another, causes this issue. In those cases a restart is the solution. If that doesn't help, clearing the cache should fix it. On the beam launcher, select "Support Tools" then clear the cache. I don't know why I didn't respond to this at the time, but this was resolved with the 0.11 update. If you haven't already, download the latest version and it should be fine now.
