    Hello,

I usually don't post in this section much, but there's some issues with the SBR4 that are not issues related to mods or a bad install - not really glitches, just bugs.

    Issue #1:

It doesn't brake very well, it's very jerky and locks up frequently, plus the top-tier Stage 2 SRB4 can't brake even as well as the base model Sunburst, and it's only a little better than the big heavy pickup:

I did a three tests on the SBR4 in the S2 package, with one "normally" using the brakes, on easing on the brakes, and one pumping the brakes to lessen the jerky motion and lockup.

The results show that either the other cars in BeamNG are OP or that the SRB4 is weak in braking - a supercar from 2016 should stop waaaaaay before a heavy pickup or a family sedan. The Sunburst actually stops quicker, and the pickup stops smoother.

    (for reference, 60 MPH = ~ 96 KPH - I don't know why it suddenly became metric)

    Issue #2:

The ESC is really neat, and it helps the car behave a lot better, but I can't drive with it on because it actually worsens handling in some cases because it locks up the front tires occasionally.

The video might still be processing, and I'm exaggerating the problem to better show the issue, but nevertheless it affects the car even in very calm, realistic driving.

Thank you for your time, and thanks for the continued updates. I really like the SBR4 anyway. ;)

Dunno what happened to the brake tuning. I've just fixed it, so now it can stop from 60 mph in 33.64 meters (110 feet).

The ESC is designed for severe understeer since it's meant for safety, not speed. You can switch it to sport mode or off for more balanced driving.

Thanks for the reply, and thanks for tuning the brakes,

However, I know the ESC is for safety and whatnot, but I'm pretty sure it won't lock up the wheels in a semi-quick twist of the wheel. Plus, Sport ESC does not change this behaviour.

I haven't been able to lock up the wheels with ESC, but I'll definitely look into it.

Thought this would be a decent place to post this. When the SRB4 has the front wheels off the ground and you turn either way lock to lock it breaks the respective spring.

Its not a major issues but its something none the less. It affects all variants.

I just had a look at the ESC configuration of the SBR and it's indeed way over the top.
The config was originally made when the SBR still had some traction issues, but Corey worked his tire tuning magic after that, so I can reconfigure the ESC to be way less aggressive. :)
Additionally I just fixed a bug that led to weird TCS actions in sharp, low speed turns.

If we're discussing minor flaws with the sbr, the rear bumper's attachment beams are probably too elastic and need rigidifying. Rear end the car and you will find the bumper's mounts stretch enough to leave it hovering, but detached from the body of the car. Just a minor thing :p.

I found maybe the reason why the sbr4 tts2 top speed seem too slow , this is compare to the bolide . Hiroshi is maybe the first car maker who lie in the opposite way whith the speedo ... In my experience , in a ferrari when you see 300km/h on the speedo you have 280 on a gps and whith a Porsche 997 Turbo , 300 mean 299 . It's maybe not a problem if you add betwen 5% or 8% on the speedo but reducing it's crazy dangerous with the speed camera :)

They don't define how inaccurate the speedo app is... they have it set to the speed of the wheels, which isn't the same as airspeed... so it's inaccuracies are in realtime...

I personally just mod my speedo app to be airspeed so it is accurate.

One odd thing I've realized about the SBR4's wing is... if you stop at low speed with high braking the vehicle's wing opens but when it comes to a full stop the wing doesn't close while you continue braking... but if your at a complete stop already than you hit the brakes the wing doesn't come up.

Is this intentional or a minor bug?

I've had this happen to me and it really explains the very random squealing the front tires do under even mild cornering at moderate speed.

Thank you devs for the SBR4 upgrades , so i can notice they are still a differance between the wheel speed value and the airspeed , in the wrong way in my opinion , the game will have a better realism with optimistic values ...

    ( SBR4 TTS2 wheel speed value are 5% pessimist )

    EDIT
I start some test to see top speed value and differances between wheel , models and air and wheelspeed differances :

SBR4 TOP SPEED (SIMPLE GRID NO WIND in KM/H - AIRSPEED AND WHEELSPEED)

    S MODEL IN 6 255,76 249
    TTS2 6MT 287,74 278
    TTS2 6MT with base wheel 292.47 282
    TTS2 7DCT 291.49 281
